Misdiagnosed
I was post Covid. I had swelling in my right leg. I was extremely short of breath. I had been having Tachycardia. Being a RN, I asked for certain tests and was denied. I got those test the next night in the ER as I was rushed there via ambulance. Those test help diagnose me with massive blood clots in my lungs and right side heart failure. I was told I didn’t have heart failure by this man. I kept asking about edema in my leg. I was prescribed a diuretic instead of an ultrasound. He seemed to be angry @ me for asking for tests. I am grateful for the Er doctor that recognized my diagnosis immediately. He saved my life by giving me TPA.

Dr Elias Saved my life in October of 2017. He is the very Best God working through him. I am 83 and still here though not in SC. I pray my prayer of gratitude to him everyday

Anything less than 5 stars is RIDICULOUS!
I have other family members who have been AMAZINGLY cared for by Dr E, V/S failing past other Drs so I wouldn’t even consider anyone else. He takes his time, answers ALL concerns, is caring and creates a plan. Ask Cardio Vascular nurses who see the cardiologist in action. He was the one!

I liked Dr. Elias very much. My husband and I had been blindsided with the diagnosis we had been given by our family doctor. My husband had been referred to Dr.Elias for a very delicate procedure. I have to be honest, Dr.Elias was very knowledgeable. Most of all Dr. Elias was extremely kind and patient. Dr.Elias is a fading breed of doctors. With doctors these days being hounded at every turn with the wonderful world of managed care. Dr.Elias treated us with respect and generous spirit.
