Horrible
He “cared” for my 73 y/o father with h/o HTN & NIDDM c/o acute onset raiding b/l pain between shoulder blades, at Sparrow ER, spent 4 minutes with him initially, was never seen again, not even at discharge! one would think he come in & review results and plan of care etc, nope! After IV contrast sent my dad home with no instructions on what to do with his metformin, or if he should hold ibuprofen after his creatinine bumped from 1.1 to 2.4. No plan for pain control with his allergy to acetaminophen. Instructions- follow up with referral to a kidney doctor in “1 day” which the next day is a Friday, does not seem like a realistic plan. Patients- please advocate for yourself! Docs – treat your patients as if they were your own family
