I made a mistake on the day of my doctor's visit, but he came to see me anyway, examined me and explained what the problem was.

Do not choose this doctor Buka you will regret it greatly. Buka is not professional. Choose another doctor now. Staff is unprofessional and has no patience or feels empathy for patient's.

Went to visit Dr.Buka on 4-18-19, for my yearly visit after cataract surgery at his office on southwest highway. When I arrived, I was told that HE MOVED HIS OFFICE to another location. Now I traveled from St Charle, which is an hour drive, and was never informed of his move. That had to be the fault of his staff, or maybe he did not want me as a patient anymore. Dr Buka is an excellent surgeon, but he has no personality and rushes thru his exams. I have found another caring practice!

Dr. Buka has always been professional and thorough in his eye care evaluations. I will definitely go to him for my cataract surgery when it is required. He told me during my last visit that I would require the surgery within a year or two and that time has elapsed.

I was referred to Dr. Jonathan Buka for a cataract evaluation. My ophthalmologist said that he was referring me to the best, and he did. My consultation visit consisted of several diagnostic tests and a discussion of Dr. Buka’s years of experience. I was so confident I scheduled my surgeries feeling completely confident and well prepared. His office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. At every visit they put me completely at ease. I am very pleased with my cataract surgeries. Thank you, Dr. Buka!

He was very professional with me and always has been. If you are looking for a jolly and smiling Doctor he should probably not be your choice. However, I have always felt comfortable with his opinions of my eyes.

He is very cold does not even introduce himself. Disregards you or any questions you have. I’m not sure why he is even practicing because his demeanor is so uncaring and does not listen to anything you ask him. He needs to retire. We left the office not knowing anything and he just walked out of the room. He put drops in my eyes didn’t say anything and left . Came back not a word did another exam without even acknowledging me and said u need a specialist. He than left the room.

Had a vision incident /left eye worsening. The asst did all the testing; Dr. Buka did not even remain in the room. He returned after all testing, told me I have 20/20 vision and that I read the charts. I told him during the exam I could not read the charts w/my left eye, & I told the asst I could not read the charts; he repeated he sees no problem and told me again I read the charts. Again, he was not in the room during testing; total lack of care. Will never return to this physician.
