Dr. Jonathan Beach, DO

The nurse sue here in Plattsburgh is absolutely amazing, they have always been absoluty great especially dr.beach! He is by far the best dr. I have many heath problems and he meets and understands them all. my sister is also a patient and wouldnt go anywhere else. Reading the negative comments makes me kinda wanna throat punch ya through the screen :-) they let people no well enough ahead of time maybe you missed the call :-) anywhoo 5 stars from us! Also if you have diabets this is the dr you want to have all the way!

Dr. Beach left the Plattsburgh area without notifying his patients. The only way some people learned of his leaving was when they showed up at his empty office for their appointments.

Receptionist told me to sit down after I paid my deductible. Helped 4 to 5 other customers while I still sat. Appointment time was for 1045am I did not get seen till well after 11

The business is very clean, people are friendly, and things are timely. Dr. Beach is a fine dr that cares and has diabetes himself, do he speaks from experience and can relate. He seems to be a good listener as well.

Only cares about the money! He takes the “cash doctor” to heart, worst experience I have ever had and a waste of $600. Save your time, family, and money and just simply go ANYWHERE but here, only remotely compassionate person was ONE nurse, the doctor wants you in, sums of the visit as fast as possible and leaves you handing over a weeks pay for horrible service. Unfortunately I HAD to atleast put one star.

I got charged over $200 for a new patient fee - despite the fact that they did not take a medical history, examine me, spend any time with me AND that I have been in the past. They gave me a shot, wrote me a prescription for antibiotics (without even examining the area) and sent me on my way. I will never visit again and urge everyone to look for services elsewhere. The ONLY plus side was they saw me immediately for a walk in.

Much like the previous person I too despite years of documentation sent to this office am Waiting for a medication almost 2 mos now I'd been on for 6+ years. Billing Dept. Lies to cover herself despite reports from pharmacist and insurance company. Office does not follow up and then argues when you explain the information is there but not being utilized properly.

It took 3 weeks for them to get my medical records before I could get in for an appointment. At that point it took over a month to get an appointment for a checkup. Very bad experience, seemed like front desk personnel was very disorganized and not getting their job done. Going to look for a different Doctors office.
