Dr. Jonathan Baker, MD

I contracted shingles in January 2023, and it was near one eye. Dr Baker reccognized the need to specifically address the risk of eye damage, and promptly prescribed eye drops to prevent that. Consequently, although I have had to deal with various complications of shingles, my eyesight was not affected, as proved by subsequent ophthalmology consults. Saving my eyesight was priceless to me.

I visited Dr. Baker a while ago after I had my baby. As a new and single mother, I was so stressed out. I was trying to figure out how to get more work, paying off my bills, handling a kid, and I didn't have anyone to rely on. On top of that, my baby got sick and I didn't know how to help him. He was distressed and crying constantly. When we went to Dr. Baker, he must have sensed the tension, the way he knelt down and asked if we were okay sent me over the edge. I'm sure he was busy, but he took the time to listen to me vent while his intern soothed my baby. We are doing a lot better now, so I wanted to come back to write a review in appreciation of his kindness when I was at my lowest. Thank you, Dr. Baker!

I went to see Dr. Baker when I had a terrible soar throat and cough. He was a great listener and did a complete examination. He discussed the treatment possibilities with me and was respectful.

Wow, how do I start? I was scared to go see Jon due to the bad reviews, but I was wonderfully proven wrong. I have severe depression and anxiety and hated going to the doctor's office, so waiting in that small office was anxiety-inducing. When Jon entered the room, right off the bat, he noticed how uncomfortable I was and quickly crouched down to my level to ask if I was alright. He spent the whole time listening to me rambling without interrupting me. Seriously, I like him way more than my therapist, haha. I feel that he really values my beliefs and opinions and worked with me to develop a treatment plan. I'm definitely going to come back to him!

Dr. Baker helped me when I was dealing with a serious upper respiratory infection. He ensured I received the correct antibiotics and was great about addressing my discomfort by prescribing an inhaler as well as cough medication. I appreciated his care and efficiency.

Unprofessional and rude. Was very unhelpful during my visit, was very aloof, and treated me like a junkie trying to get fix rather than a patient trying to comply with a prescribed treatment. Then preceded to prescribe me a medication for a totally unrelated condition I do not have.
