Everyone was very professional and showed compassion

Wouldn't let this guy groom my dog. Cocky, arrogant and wall-to-wall unprofessional. Railroaded me nearly the whole time. And seemed not to like my pointing out to his staff that leaving patients to wait TWO HOURS to start an appointment is just not appropriate. Period. He actually threw some sly insults my way - about my body - during my consultation. For a plastic surgeon, this is frankly absurd. All record of my appointment then mysteriously vanished from my online portal.

I had a mastectomy with reconstruction in August of 2021 with Dr. Nelson. I experienced a serious complication after surgery (severe necrosis in both breasts) that I managed on my own; he did not respect my decisions; he was always an hour or two late; and another surgeon had to correct his mistakes. The necrosis showed within 24h after the surgery and Dr. Nelson did not visit nor did his team provide a care plan. I alerted his office and they bounced me around and wouldn't let me speak to him. I didn't know what was happening to my body. I quickly switched to another plastic surgeon who urgently got me into hyberbaric oxygen treatment, which I did every day for two months. The new plastic surgeon corrected mistakes Dr. Nelson had made. Dr. Nelson used tissue expanders that were too large for my body and did not use ADM like I asked, leaving my skin super thin and increasing my risk for necrosis. Dr. Nelson didn't care about what was happening to me, I was just number in his queue.

Dr Nelson performed my breast reconstruction at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Unfortunately my result was very poor, he overstretched the skin of my breast to paper thin causing extensive rippling, a very unnatural shape and a much larger size than requested. He also left many divots in my inner thighs with a liposuction for fat grafting and did not inform me that he was going to take fat from my front thighs as well.
