Dr. Jomil Villasmil, MD

This office will get things wrong such as blood tests and biometric screenings. They get my Quest Billings wrong!They refuse to renew my prescriptions for Diabetes and my thyroid meds. I have had 4 doctors since 1999,when I was diagnosed with diabetes and had my thyroid taken out. 1 in PA and 3 in FL. This is the only office that has refused to renew my prescriptions. None of those very qualified doctors snuck in a B-12 test since 1999. NONE. That is why I am in this mess.

Dr Villasmil is a great Doctor. He is always throrough with his examination and he answers all of my questions. I really recommend him.

I found him to be kind, empathetic, and competent. I’d rate him 15 out of 10.

Dr. Villasmil is the best Doctor I have seen. He takes time to explain things. He talks to you not at you. He listens to your concerns and works with you even asking for your input on treatment. And the staff is great.

Dr. Villasmil is very professional and personable. I trust all of his advice. He explains everything in a lay person’s terms. If you get the chance, see if you can have him as your primary care physician.

I was recommended to the Dr. Villasmil and I traveled for an hour to see him and I can say that my experience was good is very professional, the waiting time was short and he answered all my questions with the best attitude.

My experience was really good. The doctor is professional, clear and precise ... The nurse was friendly. I highly recommend the Doctor.

My boys see Dr. Villasmil. He takes the time to make them feel comfortable during their exams. His office is always available to see them when they are sick.

Dr Villasmil is the worst doctor I have ever encountered and I work in the medical field. He is a bully and he doesn’t listen to his patients. He uses medications as a bandaid and he gets very angry if you don’t agree with his suggestions. He’s demeaning and full of himself. I would not recommend anyone go to him if they are looking for a compassionate physician that actually cares about their patients.

He’s a great doctor

Comprehensive, always answers all my questions and explained in detail. I drive 1 hour just to visit him.

He is a very good doctor, responds clearly to all your questions and concerns. He really takes care of his patients. I recommend him without any hesitation.

He claimed to have a need to remove wax from my ears during a physical - he showed me what he removed and it was an incredibly small amount of ear wax (truly questionable whether this actually had to be done). When we received a bill, he / the clinic charge $400.00 for this "outpatient procedure." Charging for services without notifying the patient of additional charges is not acceptable. I am afraid of asking for a tissue as I sure that would be another few hundred dollars.

I'm not clear why the Doctor receives any negative comments. I've been treated by numerous doctors over my 73 years, and I would place Dr. Villasmil against any physician I have ever seen. He is caring without placing guilt trips as a means of motivation; his directions have always been clear and the results have proven his suggestions to be right on. I completely trust this doctor to provide for my best. I have no reservations on my end. By the way, the nurses speak highly of this doctor!!

Dr. Villasmil is quite possibly the worst doctor I have ever seen. He is arrogant, condescending, and quite frankly he is rude! I do NOT trust his medical opinions and think he is dangerous to his patients due to his arrogance. This is a huge shame because with the exception of him, this office has excellent providers who are compassionate, caring, and invested in their patients heath and well being. Do yourself a favor and see someone else, unless you like being patronized and treated poorly

Arrogant and incompetent describe this doctor. Empathy is not a skill he posseses nor does he understand how to de-escalate. I concur with the other commentor, if you question his decisions, he will blow his mind and tell you to get a different doctor. Most doctors are annoyed when patients pretend to know more than them, that is normal. An excellent doctor encourages patients to question decisions. This so called physician acts personally offended.

My daughter was seen by Dr. Villasmil in the urgent care. He had wonderful bedside manners with her. She's young and still isn't quite sure what to make of strangers but he made sure she was comfortable and had a positive experience. He also explained everything very well and answered all of our questions and concerns. He was very thorough and gave us all his attention while he was in the room.

I took my 15 year old son to him for depression and my son wasn't answering his questions so Dr. Villasmal told my son that he was wasting his time and if he didn't like it he could get up and walk out the door. Then he suggested I find another Dr. for my son. I've never been treated so poorly. And it sure didn't help my son. I have already changed his Dr and I will NEVER return to this man and I hope no one else does either.
