Dr. Joilynn Evans, MD

I have seen both Dr. Evans and her APRN Carole Sweat and both ladies are fantastic! Each time I’ve gone they were able to make me feel the most relaxed and comfortable that I’ve ever been able to be during the generally pretty uncomfortable experience for me during an annual! They also made my 3rd Nexplanon implant removal and replacement procedure a piece of cake compared to my old doctor I had in the state I lived in previously that did the first 2 for me! To sum it up I highly highly highly recommend seeing them if you’re in the market for a new women’s doctor!

She was more concerned about pushing the covid vaccine than the health of me and my unborn child. I ended up having a contraindication to the epidural, spinal and nitrous oxide that she missed because she always rushed me through my appointments. I felt coerced into an induction because she assured me I would have a say in my birth. Liar! The nurses and doctors on the L&D floor WILL perform procedures on you like checks and uterine massages WITHOUT your informed consent. Did I mention the nurse mismanaged my pitocin and my labor ended up being 6 hrs longer because of it? I was in agony and the nurses just told me to stop screaming because they couldn’t give me anything and wouldn’t no matter how much I begged. Instead of apologizing, her and the hospital gaslighted me for not being a “cooperative and transparent” patient. As a result, I struggle with flashbacks and depression. Thanks for the trauma doctor Evans! May this review save someone else for going though what I did.

Dr. Evan’s helped me through my miscarriage. I’ve never had such a compassionate doctor who took the time to help in a way best for me. Thankful to have found her, she’s just an amazing person.

Highly recommend very smart lady. Takes the time to listen to you, short wait times. She makes you feel comfortable.

I have been with Dr. Evan's for over 12 years. I moved almost 2 hours away 3 years ago and WONT change doctors! She knows her patients and knows what's best. Never puts you down. Talks to you like you are a person not just a patient!!! Give you her honest opinion and advice.

Dr. Evans was very friendly and nice. I felt that she genuinely cared and listened to my concerns. As a new patient she made sure to get all details about my previous health history. She made me feel calm and at ease during my exam. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new doctor.

Dr Evans has delivered both of my babies & was very thorough each time. She also made sure she was the one to deliver my babies & even rushed to the hospital at 5am. If I had to do it all over again, I'd always choose Dr Evans!

She is the best doctor I've ever had. She was able to find a rare diagnosis, connect me with other specialists, and is super personable. She works her schedule around my needs and makes my health her priority. Even after moving, I travel over an hour one-way to get to her office because I trust her. I could not ask for anything more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I love this office so much. I am someone not comfortable seeing a male gynecologist and I love that I know I will get a female doctor every time. I recommend this office to everyone! I have many friends that go as well and love it. Dr. Evans is very funny and always lightens the mood, which is great because it's not like seeing the gynecologist is the most comfortable thing in the world. She always adequately listens to my concerns and is always willing to discuss things in detail.
