Dr. Johnny Su, MD

Dr. Su is highly intelligent, and is to the point. I feel he cares and spends the extra time needed for me at every appointment. He is willing to explain any concern, or question you have in detail. Others have stated he is rude, however I have found that to be the opposite, his demeanor is extremely professional and respectful.

Waited for over an hour and still no doctor! Very rude and condescending Worst doctor I've ever dealt with.I will find another doctor.

I had an hour wait before the doctor came in. He asked rapid fire questions and if anything other than a one word response was given, he would cut me off. Basically everything I told him he downplayed and almost made me feel guilty for coming in to the appointment. I WILL NEVER go back to see him.

I honestly almost canceled my appointment because of the terrible reviews here. I’m glad I didn’t because I think he is possibly the best medical professional I have ever been to. He is different and not overly friendly, but kind and professional. I think people misinterpret his way of getting answers as being rude, but it didn’t take long for me to understand why he seems that way. He said I can’t help you if you don’t help me and you will help me by answering my questions clearly and concisely. When I wasn’t answering as directly as he wanted he would ask for a more specific answer.. his tone probably sounds condescending to some but I genuinely felt as though he has my best interest at heart even if he didn’t make me feel all cozy inside.. the friendly doctors haven’t gotten me an answer yet so why not try the more rigid and more professional one. He also spent 2.5 hrs with me.. no other doctor has ever spent that kind of time on me.

Waited 2 hours for him to come to room, then spent another hour doing a long, offensive survey where he talked to me like a child when I didn't give him the exact answer or knew exactly how long I had an illness, the name of a doctor, etc. Then he spent about 5 minutes with an exam. He never listened to me or addressed my needs. Only stated how he works and prefers.

My consultation with Dr. Johnny Su was THE WORST provider experience I have EVER had! He is a bully, demeaning, and rushed would be an understatement! I will NEVER be seen by this physician again nor would I recommend him to anyone else. (I did express my concerns in detail with my nurse who was very professional and kind.)

The staff was nice I was told to be there at 3:45 I was done at 6 pm. This doctor asked many questions but only wants one word answers and if u explain he will rudely remind u of his question wanting to know dates for everything he is asking instead of looking at your records. I have NEVER SEEN ANY DR MORE RUDE ARROGANT AND HATEFUL THAN THIS MAN and I am 68 yrs old and have seen many doctors. IF U LIKE BEING TREATED LIKE U ARE STUPID AND A BOTHER HO SEE HIM YIU WILL GET JUST THAT

out of the last 4 appointments my wait time has been over 2 hours from appointment time till see the doctor, a terrible waste of my personal time.

Absolutely horrible bedside manner. Rude and condescending. Apparently they grant degrees to anyone.

Dr Su is very thorough He checks everything and ask a lot of questions. He has always been polite and apologetic for making me wait. I came back n wrong day last time and he worked me into the schedule during his lunch. He finds things that my primary care doesn’t even check

WORST doctor and most hateful person I have ever seen, and I have seen many doctors!!! He is indescribably rude and intentionally degrading. When he talks, it is clear that he is spiteful. My first impression is that he loves himself and hates everybody else. If I was sick, and he was the last doctor on earth, I would refuse to see him.

I am not sure what more you want. I just wrote an indepth review on Dr Su. I gave him 5 stars even though I have never been to a rheumatologist, I have been to other doctors throughout my 67 years of life. If you need more info, please email me or call me.

I had to walk out. I don’t care that he told me that I was Obese or that I didn’t have arthritis first off I know I’m fat lol and second thanks for the rule out of Arthritis. But to walk in and start interrogating me and asking me why I’m there, why did my doctor send me, and then go on to tell me “let me see you’re going to say it’s not all it’s because you ache? but the lab results aren’t even high because math!” and then go on with your calculations as if I am listening still when clearly I am trying to decide if you have a form of Autism and if I should be offended or not...but I decided you were clearly just really going out of your way to hold that condescending tone with me and let your ego fill that office space. So I had to go. No I don’t care what else you think might be wrong with me after you say stuff like “I’m not pain management that’s their job to manage pain. Sir, I wasn’t looking for meds but hey maybe that’s what you thought? I was really just looking an answer.

Rude and arrogant. He doesn't listen to your concerns because he doesn't seem 2 care. Possibly a cyborg and I wouldn't refer my worst enemy 2 him

I would never recommend Dr. Su! He is not a good doctor and he is an even worse person! So unprofessional and uncaring. Very judgmental and condescending. On my first visit decided that I didn't have RA but rather Hepatitis C because I have a lot of tattoos. Needless to say, he was very wrong and 10 months later, I finally have a new rheumatologist. One who listens to me and explains things to me. One who is nice to me! The complete opposite of Dr. Su and I never have to talk to him again.

Rude! Doesn’t allow you to speak. Someone else said he’s a robot and I agree. Whenever I tried to say something he said I didn’t ask you that DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME OR INFORMATION with this creep

I saw Dr. Su several times to assist with the diagnosis and treatment of chronic inflammatory condition. Without exaggeration, Dr. Su is likely the most rude and condescending physician I have ever encountered. With no bed-side manner, He conducts his visits as a 1-sided interrogation, with no engagement allowed by the patient. When I asked a question, he reprimanded me for basically "talking out of turn". Strongly recommend finding another physician.

Dr. Su by far worst dr. in my 60+ years. Non communicative. Worst bedside manner. Like a robot. Fill many pages of ? each visit then doesn't refer to your answers & verbally asks each question. I understand thorough but he's ridiculous. Doesn't listen. Loads u up with tests ordered recently by previous dr. & in records. This will run up your bills. Save your money & time...find another dr. Sorry I ever saw him & sorrier I saw him twice. He should've picked a profession not dealing with people!

Worse experience with a specialist. He walked in & asked me "why are you even here". He did not care to hear any of my medical history. Only wanted me to answer his questions which were yes, no & date. He said to me "it works best if I ask for question & you wait to answer it". He spoke to me like I was stupid & didn't understand the human body. Before he left the office he named 5 other specialist WHICH DOESNT MAKE SENSE or explained why. I left the office crying and It ruined my whole weekend.

Dr Su is a thoughtful, careful physician who did a great deal to assist in stabilizing bone density. His understanding of new drugs to help with thinning bones was outstanding and he gave great advise on how to monitor blood levels and take steps to increase calcium. The best.
