Dr. Gibbs performed distal bicep surgery on me. He was very informative and thorough. My body responded differently than most, but I am now able to use my hand again and am very grateful for his assistance! If you're considering having him do a surgery on you, do not hesitate as you are in extremely good hands! He definitely is someone I would HIGHLY recommend as he really knows his job and is a very caring doctor.

I absolutely loved Dr. Gibbs...However, I needed surgery for a broken arm. I know that Dr. Gibbs did not close the incision, but he was the doctor in charge. I ended up with a foot long scar that is absolutely horrible looking! I have tried everything and was told that only plastic surgery would help. I was also told that it was a horrible closing job. I wished I knew this before surgery, as I'd have had a plastic surgeon there. Living with this has been awful!

Dr. Johnny Gibbs performed surgery on my right wrist on October 18, 2019 and the outcome of the surgery was successful. I thank God first and Dr. Johnny Gibbs for giving me my right hand back. If you need an orthopedic surgeon this is your Doctor.

Definitely the best Ortho I could have asked for to help fix my torn rotator cuff and rebuild strength. I'm a competitive Olympic Lifter and I owe my recovery Dr. Gibbs diligent recovery plan. Trust him completely!!!! Staff is SUPER friendly. I also felt like a VIP patient.

I have found Dr. Gibbs very easy to talk to. He listens and responds. He's efficient but never seems rushed. My surgery went off w/o any snags.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON? Highly skilled, a good communicator, kind and compassionate, great bedside manner.....Is this too much to ask for? I would have settled for highly skilled! However, Dr Johnny Gibbs has all of these qualities and much more, If I ever need another surgery, there is no one else I would rather have perform my surgery.

Dr.Gibbs was very professional and knowledgeable, his manner was amazing and I was immediately put at ease by him., as I don’t like to be in any doctor’ office. He took the time with me and answered all of my questions... his staff is very courteous and efficient. Dr. Gibbs explained what he would do for me, and I must say the shot was not bad and over pretty quick... He definitely is an asset to the Watson clinic,

Dr Gibbs advised me a total hip replacement was necessary due to the condition of my hip. Within two weeks the surgery was completed by Dr. Gibbs at Lakeland Hospital and now five weeks afterward i am without pain for the first time in over three years. After almost 30 years in law enforcement it was refreshing to have someone so straightforward with his diagnosis and the expertise to complete the procedure in such a timely fashion. I would highly recommend Dr. Gibbs for your orthopedic care.

When I fell and fractured my wrist Dr. Gibbs worked me in and got me taken care of in no time. Being disabled makes it difficult for me to get around but he made the whole process quick and painless. My fracture is now healed and I am not having any issues. If you are looking for a kind and educated orthopedic surgeon Dr. Gibbs is the doctor to see.

My son fell off his scooter. The next day he was complaining of wrist pain. Dr. Gibbs worked him in same day. He looked at the x-ray & immediately showed me & made sure I understood where the fracture was.He was very personable with my son only being 10years old tried to help get the situation off his mind. He even personally spent the time putting the cast on making sure it was perfect!The world definitely needs more doctors like him who not only have great bedside manner but efficient care

Dr. Gibbs and his team are all amazing! I had a labrum tear in my shoulder, Dr. Gibbs explained everything to me and was very excited to work with me. He drew out a picture of the shoulder and labrum for me so I knew exactly what was going on and what to expect. He even caught that my labrum was also torn on the back side (which was not shown from my MRI), for me I experienced little to no pain after surgery and my rehab after went flawless and moved along quickly. Great sense of humor too!

Dr. Gibbs did my total hip replacement surgery 6 weeks ago and he was great. Just had my 6-week checkup and I have no restrictions. The surgery went perfectly. It was the most pain-free, drama-free surgery I could have imagined. I only took pain medication for a few hours after surgery. The day after surgery I was walking and I was off the walker in a week and the cane in three weeks. Six weeks after surgery I went to a dance party and danced all night. Would definitely recommend him.

I visited Dr. Gibbs with severe arthritis in my right hip that I had been putting off surgery for many years. One look at my x-rays and I was getting a new hip in 2 weeks. The pain I had been putting up with for so many years is now gone and my biggest challenge will be retraining myself to use my legs properly again. I was walking the next day, and now 2 weeks after surgery am only using my cane mostly as a security blanket. Dr. Gibbs office is very friendly and efficient and I appreciate all.

Was referred from a friend who is in the medical field. I previously had rotator cuff surgery and didn't have the expected result from 3 years ago. I visited Dr. Gibbs and we started a treatment plan right away. He was very thorough and read the repeat MRI himself. He was honest, kind, and I had a 2nd surgery to fix what the problem from the prior surgery. 3 months later I now have ZERO pain!!! The guy is talented!!! What a nice guy and wonderful bedside manner! He is THE BEST doc ever!!!

Dr. Gibbs treated me for a severe ankle fracture a few years ago with remarkable results.
My 84 year old father was experiencing severe knee pain so once again I turned to Dr. Gibbs, following him to the Watson Clinic for a second opinion. His knowledge and professionalism sets him apart from other doctors. His personable approach demonstrated dignity and compassion for my elderly father, explaining his diagnosis and treatment plan in terms my father could comprehend. I give him an excellent!

Words can not express the amount of appreciation I have for Dr. Gibbs and his team. I was struggling with knee pain for over a year - after previously seeing two Ortho doctors (that did not help me) when I was referred to Dr. Gibbs. He immediately, at my first appointment, looked over my MRI and began treatment. He is responsive, diligent and most of all.. kind and honest. I did end up needing surgery, but he cared for me every step of the way. He is wonderful and I am truly grateful.
