Good as New - Rotator Cuff Repair/Bicep Reattached
After a painful fall, I went to Orthopedic Medical and he was the first available Dr. so I took the appointment as I was in a lot of pain. God was watching out for me when he sent me to him. I had a torn tendon and ligament that required rotator cuff surgery as well as cutting and reattaching my bicep. Dr. Williams was patient, answered all my questions, explained what would happen, what he would do and what I needed to do. He exuded knowledge, confidence, realism and hope. He equipped me as a patient for success. Although the process of recovery was painful (which is normal with this type of surgery), I completed all the physical therapy (they were wonderful as well) and am as good as new. Dr. Williams took excellent care of me and I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

AWESOME from his bald head to his toes.!! THANKS
Dr. Williams did surgery on my hand for corporal tunnel release. I wasn't put to sleep for surgery and was a little concerned about that. My concern was for nothing. After he numbed my hand I felt nothing. And not being under anesthesia was so much better for my body because I know there are a number of risks with having anesthesia. I went from surgery to recovery wide awake and feeling great. After about 45 minutes in recovery I was released to go home. The feeling in my hand come back after about 6 hours. Very little pain but he gave me pain medication and I only took it 2 days. Long story short I've never had a doctor that is so attentive to his patients. When I went to his office for my first checkup after surgery, he came in and I ask him where his cape was. He said I left it at home, why! I said because you are my hero!!! Thank you Dr. Williams for taking such good care of me.

I am one year post op, of two new knees Dr. Williams installed for me, Male, 63 y/o, retired military. Both knees were done in same day clinic setting. I wanted to wait a year so I had a reasonable amount of time to experience not only the surgery, but the physical therapy regimen, and the adjusted life afterward. Dr. Williams has exceptional communication skills which allows him to relate to the patient on their level and be easily understood. He spends the time necessary to to ensure all questions/concerns of the patient are answered without a sense a being rushed. He is very honest about what to expect and timelines involved. I consider myself blessed to have been able to have both knees done by Dr, Williams 3 months apart. At this point, I feel I was given a lifestyle which allows me to do activities I have not been able to do for the past 20 years.

Dr Williams is an outstanding doctor and surgeon. At the initial consult we discussed my expectations and where I'd like to be at the end of treatment. He methodically diagnosed a trashed left shoulder (Left rotator cuff) and operated on it. Within three months I was back in the pool swimming 4-5 miles a week. He went well beyond my expectations. I would strongly recommend him to anyone seeking an knowledgeable and skilled Orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Johnathan Williams is the best doctor I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and being in his care. His attitude to his patients and specialty is above and beyond what you usually find in the medical profession. He is a decorated Naval Medical Officer with 8 years of service. His bed side manner is remarkable and real. He performed a full hip replacement on me and I was up and moving around hours after the surgery with no pain. As I remember it, I had very little to no pain after going home. He is a diamond in the rough and I would highly recommend him, and have recommended him to many. Dr. Williams is going to become the best orthopedic surgeon that the great state of Texas is going to know soon. Texas will be grateful to have him.

I have had four surgeries with Dr. Williams in the past two years. I had immediate rapport with him. He has genuine care and concern for his patients. He is amazingly talented and professional. He explained procedures perfectly to ease any anxieties I may have had. He has replaced one knee and both shoulders. I have trusted him completely from the time of diagnosis. My knee and shoulders were causing pain with arthritis and bone Spurs adding to my discomfort. I have healed and have full use and range of motion with all these joints. “Thankful” for Dr. Williams is an understatement. He is an asset to all wherever he practices. Amazing person and orthopedic surgeon.

Highly recommend! Doctor Williams is passionate about his work and prioritizes patient safety at all times. Not only that, but he is especially skilled and knowledgeable. I have had the unique opportunity to work with him in the OR and when I suddenly needed shoulder surgery, I turned right to him, without any second thoughts. If you want a surgeon that listens to you, explains things to you in terms you can understand, and is a master at his craft, see Doc Williams, you won’t be disappointed!

I recently moved to the area and was apprehensive about finding another wonderful orthopedic doctor to replace the one I had been with for over 10 years. It was an easy task. Within a short time I had three people recommend Dr. Williams to me. From the very first visit he was personable, positive and professional! He listened to my concerns about the diminishing function I was experiencing with my knee and determined an initial plan of treatment. Ultimately I had surgery and couldn't be more pleased with all the improvements. My recovery was short and I'm back to my former level of activity and looking forward to my next outdoor adventure! If you're looking for an orthopedic, I highly recommend Dr. Williams.

Yes, I would highly recommend Dr. Williams to my family and Friends. My left knee was in very severe condition for the last 25 years. Other Doctors did not want to touch that knee. Dr. Williams explained everything from beginning to the end and that made me feel comfortable and I trusted his ability to take care of me.

I saw Dr. Williams for a shoulder replacement. He ended up giving me a reverse shoulder replacement six weeks ago. He explained the procedure in layman's terms and I felt much at ease after discussing all my options with him. I have more range of motion in the repaired shoulder than the non-repaired one. I can do things already that I haven't been able to do in years. I couldn't recommend him more and wished I'd gotten the procedure earlier. A total professional and a great surgeon. Feel free to reach out to me if more details are needed. I'd give him more than five stars if able!

Dr Williams is pleasant, easy to talk to. I was not left waiting for more than five minutes when he came into the room. Until the pandemic, he would get a handful of sanitizer and shake my hand. That let me know he used the sanitizer.

Dr. Williams came highly recommended by a co-worker when I was having issues with my knee and shoulder. He performed a rotator cuff/bicep tendon repair on me in Feb 2020 and a total knee replacement in Oct 2020. Dr Williams is a PHENOMENAL surgeon. Highly knowledgeable and detailed in his explanations of the procedures he conducted on me. I was not the least bit apprehensive. He has a genuinely caring bedside manner. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. William!!

He is a very compassionate Doctor. He listened to my long story of pain and procedures ,operations and dispair. He could see that I was miserable ! He performed both of my knee replacements. I feel like a new person!!! I can walk without pain for the first time in about 10 years. I feel like he saved my life!! !Everytime that I see him,I express my sincere gratitude. I am sure that he will continue to bring life altering happiness to his new clients in his new journey outside of the Military . He is an outstanding Doctor and Surgeon. I highly recommend him! Okay... This guy is all about outcomes and options. Dr. Williams never pushed anything as the "silver bullet" when I needed to come to terms with the fact that my left hip was pretty much shot from past injuries/age. He and his team supported me when I just wanted to try PT and steroid shots. When the PT and steroids no longer gave sufficient relief, I opted for a total hip replacement. Dr. Williams entertained all my questions on how the surgery would be performed (front enter, rear entry, high rear entry, etc.). The outcomes have been unreal. I went from struggling to walk around the block to walking 3 to 5 miles within 2 weeks post-op. He and his team laid out everything for best outcomes: -- These medicines support these outcomes (healing, pain/inflammation) -- Doing these activities support recovery outcomes. -- NOT doing these activities prevent these bad outcomes. I am now 6 weeks post-op and struggle to tell right hip from left hip as I go about my new life.
