Disappointed
First of all, I want to say the Waxhaw ER's personnel is amazing and the installations are very clean. However, Dr. John Wlezniak order a second unnecessary CT Scan and blood work that is costing me a fortune! I was in a lot of pain and he failed to recognize that my pain was due to shingles. Now he is charging me for two visits the amount of $3, 740.00, and on top of that I have to pay his bill to a different company, not related to Waxhaw ER, that refuses to take my insurance!! This company's name is PaymentMD with lots of sorry reviews.

What a horrible Doctor
If I could give a negative star on Dr. Wlezniak, I would. I went in to the ER thinking I had appendicitis. This doctor was totally unconcerned. He sent me for blood work and a CT scan. Then said that the blood work and CT scan showed no signs of appendicitis and sent me home. I was still having stomach issues and went to my provider who read the very same CT scan report and said I had diverticulitis. I was treated with medication. Diverticulitis is serious and this lame doctor could not be bothered to read the report in its entirety.

Dr Wiezniak was excellent when he saw my sister and diagnosed a stroke . He sat down and explained to her what was going on .

I wouldn’t classify this person as a doctor. He is a soulless, in compassionate pompous jerk. When you go to the Er with someone in mental crisis and they are laughed at to their face, you lose credibility as someone who should be in this field. He should lose all rights to practice medicine.

Dr. John Wlezniak was the souless HACK that my wife was unfortunately paired with when she went to the ER for really bad neck pain. He ordered a CT scan "to rule out CANCER etc etc". Yes, he actually dropped the C word. Now we are stuck with an over $5000 ER bill, 1/2 of which is because of incentives that A$$HOLES like WLEZNIAK are offered for unnecessary tests. My advice is avoid this hack, and question EVERYTHING.

If there was no stars then that would be the rating. This dr is the worst er dr or even person I have come across. No concern for my second time coming in for chest pain and shortness of breath and has the nerve to say if something was going to happen it would have happened by now? Who says that to someone that is at the er feeling crappy. Looked at me as if I was faking it. Has no concern for someone who isn’t feeling well and is concerned for their health. Complete jerk and waste of time.

Was there for 7 hours for chest and hip pain---did an xray and ct--- told me I had a growth in my duodenum that needed immediate (within 2 days) attention, that I did not have a blood clot because I was still breathing, and sent me home. After consulting with my family MD, I have decided, unless i am unconscious, I will call to see who the doctor is before I ever let him touch me again!!! The rest of the staff were great, he was not!!

.Was smug, assumptive and most importantly .wrong. Came in complaining of dizziness and headaches. He concluded vertigo. To quell my concerns and questions regarding a stroke he ordered CT but without the contrast that would have shown the blood flow and discovered the pending occlusion.. Stroke occurred within 12 hours of seeing him. Thankfully it didn't kill me. If he's assigned your case ask for another or get a second opinion before you leave.

Dr.Wlezniak made me feel like I was a bother to him. He seemed busy; which I understand, but he didn't seem the least bit caring, or concerned when he got the chance to speak to me. The nurses on hand were very helpful. By the end of my visit, he came into my room with an attitude to explain and conclude what he found and had a smirk that looked like oh well I've done all I could do and left the room without even saying anything along the lines of 'goodbye' or 'I hope you feel better'.
