Dr. John West, MD

Dr. West is very unique, once he closes the door he never rushes the appointment. Very thorough and has a wonderful way of explaining the illness and resolution.

Dr. West is a very good Family Practice doc. I was one of his patients for about five years. Although we have since moved on (Maryland, Louisiana, North Carolina) I would highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr West has been my PCP for over 25 years! He, along with his office staff, have always treated my family & I with the utmost professionalism, dignity, compassion & always provided excellent medical care. He & staff will be relocating in very near future to Lawrenceville, GA, and I look forward to continuing as his patient at the new location. Me and my family have used and recommended Dr. West for decades. We love our Dr. and his entire staff. Dr . West saved my life. I was having no symptoms but.......during my annual physical Dr. West determines cardio problems and recommended I find a cardiologist. I did and after a heart cathe it was determined I had 4 blockages. I was sent directly to Piedmont Hospital and underwent a quadruple bypass over Christmas of 2013. Thank you Dr. West.

6 month fallow up, went very good.

I was there for my medicare follow up visit. We reviewed my test results from my last physical. He is always thorough and explains my tests and results. If I have any questions he is more than happy to give me an answer. He has an excellent staff.

Was able to get an appointment with Dr. West on less than 24 hours notice, which is quite a surprise during the virus crisis. And, as usual, he spent sufficient time in the exam room so that my questions were answered.

Yes, he is a excellent doctor. I have been with their practice for several years and I was very happy with their new approach with all that’s going on with COVID-19. I felt very safe!

Dr. West examines, listens, advises and provides a high standard of care based upon his findings. Most of all he listens carefully to the patient and advises them in an easy to understand manner. I've never felt rushed and I know my issues were his only concern while in council with the Doctor. This concern is echoed and apparent in the supporting staff. A fine medical team.

I have been a patient of Dr. West for about 20 years and trust him completely. I saw him for my annual exam and everything was great. He made sure we followed the CDC guidelines and there were no issues. His office staff were also excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. West to my friends and family. My visit went fast very little waiting time and I was happy with everything. I would give him and his office an A++++.

I was seen promptly upon my arrival at the appointed time. Check-in was straight forward and quickly accomplished. The wait, before being called back to the exam room was short. The MA was friendly and handled her portion of the visit efficiently. Dr. West came in shortly after and went through the exam in his usual efficient and professional manner. I'd give it 5 stars however, Dr. West informed me they would not accept any new patients, even my wife whose doctor died unexpectedly. So, what good does it do anyone to recommend this business? As for Dr. West, he's an excellent physician and very knowledgeable.

Great visit as always. Dr. West is always willing to take the needed time to discuss your health or other related questions. Staff is equally responsive.
