Dr. John Vassallo, MD

Dr. Vassallo gives you as much time as you need to ask questions. He is very easy going & approachable. I have had nothing but great experiences with him & his staff. Very caring doctor.I believe he saved my life by bugging me to get a mammogram after ignoring it for a few years. Small tumor was found very early, thanks to his pressure on me to get one.

Terrible! Worst Dr I have ever encountered. Was at Wellbridge. Came in, cut me off, started raising his voice. I was 73 yrs old, multiple pelvic fractures. He said, you don't need to be here. You can ambulate. You don't need to be here. I said I did not choose to be here. Hospital sent me. I am sorry I wasted your time. Left the next day. Feel sorry for patients that have to be seen by him!

Dr Vassallo is a great doctor. He is very kind and caring to his patients and their family. He provides outstanding medical care and really listens to his patient’s concerns. His entire staff is great too. They are all so helpful and welcoming, you feel like you are family. Shelby is the world’s greatest MA. She always has a smile and a positive attitude. Shelby is awesome at her job and is very caring and sincere. Vanessa at the front desk is always kind and goes out of her way to be helpful. If you are looking for an exceptional doctor look no further, Dr Vassallo, is your doc. His office is fantastic about getting you seen when you need it. I would give Dr Vassallo a 100 stars if I could. Thanks for the great care you all provide!

I had many questions about an illness and even questions about a family illness and Dr V was wwilling to take the time and listen to properly respond. Very rare. His team was awesome especially check in and thelovely NP lady I am so sorry I forget your name but thank you. Will see you soon, Zach.

Pretty bad experience today. My prescription was called into the pharmacy, but someone in his office didn’t put it in the right system (or something). Now, when I call, I get a recording saying they’re closed. Today is Friday and I need that prescription. Now I guess I’ll do without till Monday. It’s only 12:30.

Dr. Vassallo was the first doctor to see me in a while. I went at my wife's prompting, reluctantly. Dr. Vassallo instantly put me at ease with his casual approach. He also what I thought was an off the cuff suggestion, had me go in for a PSA test. That Test found cancer. I have been having trouble with my hands and have seen 2 specialists. Only Dr. Vassallo has helped. He cares, he spends time and listens. He even follows up on other doctors tests. He is the best.

This is the worst doctor I have ever seen. Took my weight with my winter coat and boots on, then told me I needed to lose weight. Had his dog in the office, then invited him (the dog) into the exam room. Worst, I had some tests and waited several weeks for him to call with results. After I inquired, he incorrectly claimed hospital never sent him the results. After several calls and they found them, his office claimed he was a busy man.

Moving from a new city we were looking for a primary care doctor. Finding a doctor for our family was very hard. Rachel was very pleasant and helpful making us the appointment. The office staff was very nice and friendly. This was our first visit with Dr. Vassallo, he also was nice, friendly and professional. Dr. Vassallo took his time with my 86 yr. old mother. Dr. Vassallo seems very knowledgeable and answered any question we had. The convenience of getting your blood drawn right in the office was great too. It is such a relief that we found a good doctor again. We are looking forward to the next appointment. Thank you again Dr. Vassallo and your staff!!

I met Dr. Vassallo at Wellbridge while in rehab. As I was looking for a new dr. and he was highly recommended by a dr. who was treating me for my injuries, I scheduled an appointment. I met with his nurse practitioner, Jenna and was very satisfied. She listened intently and we went over all my questions and scripts. I am so glad I made the change. A dog in the office is definitely a plus. Dr. Vassallo's sense of humor is also very appreciated.

My elderly mother is a patient of Dr. Vassallo's. Before his death, my father also. He (as well as his staff) has always treated my mother with kindness and compassion. He is a great listener and takes the time to assist mom with her concerns. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a physician.

None. First time I visited his intern did the examination. Come to find out she is studying medicine online. He made no comments, gave no feedback on my blood tests, and said nothing about any future visits. His office is good at calling in and verifying prescriptions. I don’t care for having a dog in the office. Needless to say, I’ve found a new doctor.

Dr. Vassallo is very thorough and cares very much about his patients. He has been our doctor for over 10 years.

Dr. Vassallo is a very good doctor that came highly recomended from another highly respected doctor that is his patient. He is very knowledgeable and a good problem solver. He takes the time to listen and makes sure all my questions are answered. He goes over treatment options, and explains his recomendations. The doctor and the office staff are very friendly. My wife and I are very thankful that we have Dr. Vassallo as our doctor.

I was forced to change Dr's after my health insurance changed earlier this year. I choose Dr. Vassalo based on how close it was to home and work. I went in for my yearly wellness check and was very happy with the entire staff. They even have an office dog!! I love that as dogs are great morale boosters for employees and patients!! I am very happy with my visit and would absolutely recommend him! I had the first appointment of the day and didn't even sit down to wait.

Has done more for me and my wife in 2 visits, than the doctor we left did in 6. Staff is friendly and on top of things. Caring and concerned for our health, made dr. Vassallo an excellent choice. Here you are somebody, not just another number. After our doctor retired we were sent to a local conglomerate, lets just say that was not good for us, at that 3 letter place we were just income and felt they didn't want us anyway. so glad we found Dr. Vassallo and staff!

I am purely delighted with Dr Vassallo and his entire staff. His manner with my 85 y.o. mom was perfect. He is kind, very patient, and understands the needs and fears of older patients. We appreciated his calm relaxed demeanor. And most of all, he is a good listener who gets to the root of the problem. 5 stars

Finally found DrVassallo 7 years ago after a few doctors that were just so so. Dr Vassallo has been good to deal with. He is concerned about not just my current issue, but my general overall health. Very thorough, caught my prostate cancer in it's early stage.
