Just wait longer...
Had to wait months for an appointment, only to have it cancelled on me because suddenly, the doctor won't be available but can see me in late April. Look elsewhere.

It is December 7th 2023 10:45 AM. I am writing this review 30 minutes after I had the appointment with Dr. Vaccaro. After I checked in, I waited on waiting room until I heard my name called. I entered the door opened by a lady, and I stepped into a hallway into the right. At that point, after my first step made into the right direction, the lady said with a loud voice:" SIR! YOU FOLLOW ME !!!" I used capital letters because she almost yelled at me. Almost as if I was misbehaving. I stopped, I let her walk in front of me, and I followed her into a room where I was told to sit on a chair, and "if you want, you may hang your jacket on the door". The lady told me the Dr. will be seeing me soon, then she left, closing the door. After few minutes Dr. Vaccaro came, and asked me: "Sir, are you here to cause trouble?" I was speechless, then I answered "NO, I'm not, why would you say that?" The Dr. answered: "Because you gave an attitude to my assistant" and he mentioned her name. Dr. Vaccaro said that I didn't let his assistant take my blood pressure and measurements. I politely asked the Dr. to allow me to explain what happened, and I told him how I entered the hallway, made a step to the right, and at that point the lady with a loud voice asked me to follow her, which I did. I didn't say any single word to her, because she obviously didn't show any sign of friendliness. I was never told about blood pressure, never asked about measurements. The Doctor seemed visible upset with me, didn't believe my version of what happened, and told me that he knows very well his assistance, and made me feel that he is not comfortable continuing the appointment. At that point I told him I would prefer to leave, and he showed me the door immediately, without saying any other word. Not "good bye", nothing I am 55 years old, I have seen many Doctors in my life, but I never imagined that something like this could happen. Every doctor that I met always greeted me with a smile and good words. Dr. Vaccaro never smiled to me, made me feel embarrassing, I felt insulted and mistreated by him and his assistance.

He's okay, practice is not
He was okay, listened to me but didn't really tell me anything conclusive. Summit as a service provider is terrible. I am glad my PCP is not connected to them. Made me fill out this whole dossier of invasive questions online then when I got there, gave me papers asking the same stuff again. Despite saying my visit was aftermath of COVID, they didn't write that on the paperwork so now I'm being charged for it.

First visit
Worst Experience with a doctor. Was rude, dismissive. Do not see him. He is a disgrace to the profession. I am a senior citizen with many health issues, brought in medical records. He refused to read. I had a terrible sinus migraine infection. No help at all. Was disrespectful to me. Never again. Also, was dishonest in Patient follow up; Said that I would not answer questions. Gave him my history of migraines. He didn't listen. Did not care. Shameful.

Terrible experience. Would never come back to see this Dr. again nor would recommend any patient to see him. Extremely rude!! When asked if he recommends that I start taking medicine for high blood pressure (mind you I had a stroke), he told me that he was a neurologist, and that even if I needed it, he wouldn't be the one prescribing it. Seemed like he was mad at the world. Terrible, terrible, terrible doctor. Time to retire if you can't treat your patients with the least respect.

I just had an appointment with Dr. Vaccaro this morning and can’t praise him and his staff enough!! He is kind, thorough, spent time with me and listened. He even answered a few questions from my daughter who was with me! The staff is marvelous too! Recommend him highly. For the very few who left negative comments I cannot imagine what you are talking about!!!!

Doctor is great but his front desk girl in the Clifton building is terribly rude. I would not return because of her.

Dr. Vaccaro was a consultant when my 82 y.o. father was admitted to the hospital with an acute altered mental status. He was not able to make a definitive diagnosis, based on the initial tests, he was respectful and open to feed back.

Lacks bedside manner. After my MRI without contrast, Dr. Vaccaro called me on my phone to deliver news of me having an acoustic neuroma. If he talked with me in his office with the paperwork I would have seen the radiologist note that it was only possible. It was a very stressful time. I believe all doctors should talk in person about anything that is not normal. I am trying to take this as a positive experience and be thankful I did not have an acoustic neuroma after having my contrast MRI.
