Not good !
After having an initial visit including an ultrasound, I was scheduled a return visit to meet with the doctor. During this visit he seemed to be in a rush and did not seem to have time to completely answer questions; he said several times that this laser procedure is what he recommended and the staff at the desk would help me.At the desk they told me when my first session would be, not asked ! I responded by saying that day was not good and what days do you do the procedure ? The answer was every day, so I asked for a Monday which would reduce the amount of time I would need to take off from work. We searched out 3 months and no Monday's. She continually offered other days, finally she went to ask someone and upon her return said no Monday's.If they are in such a 'push' to schedule me & don't correctly answer simple questions like what days do you do a procedure, then how can I trust their procedure to be anything different than the way they conduct normal office visits. In a hurry!

Don't recommend at all I visited the Hattiesburg clinic. The receptionist and clerk were polite. Thompson, entered my assessment room, didn't make eye contact, and very quickly went straight to showing me a 3 to 4 minute video on varicosities and clots. Of which, I had seen numerous more informative online. He announced that he was sure that my problem was superficial clots. He wasn't even going to look at my lower leg area; until I requested it. He glanced at it. No touch. No assessment. Briefly told me to take a baby aspirin a day and elevate it. All of which I had already been doing. He left the room. Their tech did the ultrasound and determined it wasn't a deep vein thrombosis, in less than 10 minutes. Never saw the doctor afterward. Was ushered out and scheduled for follow up in 4 weeks. The entire visit was less than 30 minutes, no assessment, so unprofessional. I would highly discourage anyone who actually wants to be educated about their care and have a thorough process, this is not where to go. Renata - March 20, 2024

Thompson is paradoxically intellectual and impatient. Surgical skills, research, and publications are up to par. However, he was sensitive to questions and rude when I sought clarity.
