All though Dr. Storey and I didn't get off on the right foot as I was in a panic with my diagnosis and his medical stand point HE DID NOT GIVE UP ON ME! He explained to his staff she will come around!!! I GOT A FEW DAYS TO REFLECT MY DIAGNOSIS AND UNDERGO TREATMENT. I would recommend Dr Storey 1000 times! He literally saved my life and talked to other colleagues that have never seen anything of the sort! They all thought it was something else until pathology came back. Still id recommend him 1000 times and always smiled at hearing his boots coming down the hallway??Dr Storey I'll be forever grateful for your life saving measures on my young heart! I'm proud to say I can continue to watchy 17,14,and 7 year old grow and graduate! There's no amount of money I could possibly give you and your team for not giving up on me on although I was difficult at first! For the record I did apologize to all your staff!I literally owe my life to you all! Plus you had some nice tattoo ink to look at as you always said ?? idk what I'll do when I have to find another heart surgeon. I can only hope I have as good of outcome and experience as you and your staff!

God sends you exactly who you need in your life at the most critical times. I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Storey. His display of compassion and empathy at our first meeting had me hooked. He didn't know a thing about me, only what had been shared about my prognosis. He was honest about what he could and couldn't do and shared that information in a tactful and understanding way. He is very personable and an extremely skilled surgeon. I felt confident being in his care and he reassured me that he would take care of me. He kept his word and I am forever grateful.

I am leaving a second review because I can. I have been anxious to get off of warfarin & did a 30 day event monitor with Dr. Storey carrying that hope as the ultimate goal. I was so excited when he said I no longer needed to be on the Coumadin; but then I got scared, what if i still needed it, and on and on went my over thinking. Dr. Storey called me himself to reassure me that my scans were good and he had other docs look. What surgeon calls their patient? This doc ROCKS!

My husband has a brain injury and I was so impressed when I saw Dr Storey read his confusion without anyone speaking of it. He would stop, roll his stool over to my husband, speak softly, slowly, kindly, and explain things in an easier way to understand. I was impressed with his intuitive nature and him taking the time to ensure my husband understood, had no questions, and was comfortable with treatment plan. He also was very caring for us when my husband was having open heart surgery.

Dr. Storey saved my Dad's life. He needed an aortic valve replacement, but because his health was so bad no one else was willing to do it. Dr. Storey took on the challenge. He kept us informed of what he was doing and did his best to make us feel comfortable even with the seriousness of the situation. Dr. Storey was our savior and because of him, Daddy has been here for another three years and still counting. I would trust him with my life any day.

Dr. Storey saved my life. I was a rare case, as I had a Myxoma (tumor inside my heart). I had to have emergency surgery. He had to remove the tumor and take care of an electrical problem with my heart, but due to problems with closing my sternum he had to use titanium plates and screws to close the sternum, and due to that I have been in horrible pain since. But he did save my life, but now my atrial fibrillation has returned and is much worse than before.
