Condescending and Ill-Mannered Physician
I saw Dr. John Steinlage at the Ascension Urgent Care Clinic in Neenah last week. I was there for abdominal pain and other GI issues. After waiting for 1.5 hours, (this urgent care clinics allows you to schedule an appointment, which I did), Dr. Steinlage came in the room, pressed on my abdomen, and told me he’s short staffed and I will have to go to the ER. I questioned why someone didn’t tell me that when I made the appointment. His response, “ma’am, I am a board certified physician and this is not a restaurant.” That is not quality patient care, much less showing respect to another human being. Don’t waste your time with this physician. He is not a physician for the right reasons.
