Dr. John Soderberg, MD

Dr Soderberg found uncommon skin abnormalities and diagnosed it correctly. In other appointments with medical doctors “who had dermatology experience” I was told a number of frightening things. Dr Soderberg assured me that his diagnosis was correct, and the proof is the progress being made through treatment.

Dr. Soderberg has a calming approach to discussing skin care needs with his patients. I feel he genuinely cares and takes the time to explain what is needed for the skin care need at hand. I have confidence in his recommendations..

Staff is on top of things (got me in quickly due to a cancelation), and helpful & patient: i forgot my wallet/ins. card but they assisted my wife with sending a photo of the card). Dr. is great at explaining procedures before doing them.

Dr. Soderberg is an incredible dermatologist. I followed him from his old practice to Forefront. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend his practice anymore due to the fact that their Pathologist charges an INSANE amount of money. I went in for a yearly skin check and Dr. Soderberg ended up doing a very small, non-invasive biopsy (basically just scraping the top layer of the skin). Several weeks later, I received a bill for $916.12. This was the amount owed AFTER insurance due to their Pathologist, Douglas Hansen MD charging $734.12. I did make the front desk staff aware that I have a high deductible health insurance plan, but they refused to work with me at all. Extremely disappointed and obviously will not return.

I have been to Dr. Sodeberg on a couple of occasions and really like the easy, unhurried way he listens to and speaks with me, explaining things to the extent I need and fully answering any questions I have. He explains procedures before and during them, making sure the patient is as comfortable as possible and putting them at ease.

He did exactly what I have been asking two prior dermatologists to do, test an abnormal spot on my forehead. I’m thankful that I found him as he listened to my concerns.
