I was born Deaf and rely totally on sign language to communicate. I have been my mother's caretaker for years. Dr. Schmitz never hesitated to provided a certified interpreter at each of my mother's visit to ensure I understood everything clearly. I felt a level of respect that isn't always shown to someone who is Deaf. The communication provide me more than an understanding of the medical issues, It gave me an insight to the wonderful people taking care of my mother. Thank you so, so much!

The absolute best facial surgeon in Texas! His honesty and skills set him apart from all other Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons! I can't say enough about how well he and his staff took care of me and the outcome of the procedures he's done for me is beyond my expectations! I trust him completely and would never consider going anywhere else!!

Shavano Park facial Surgery really takes care of you! The pricing, thorough planning and follow through, high tech treatment, responsiveness, friendly staff, and lovely setting all impressed me beyond my expectations. They not only treated my dental problems, but took steps to prevent future issues. They are awesome!

I was referred to another oral surgeon who didnt take my insurance by my dentist. I ended up finding Dr. Schmitz through my insurance website. I am so glad I found his office! His knowledge about my condition was remarkable. Everytime I visit Shavano Parl Facial Surgery I learn something new!

I was living in the valley and needed upper and lower jaw surgery. Had many consultations with different surgeons and nobody was able to perform the surgery I needed. Soon thereafter, I found out about Dr. Schmitz in San Antonio who is/was more than capable to do the surgery I needed in order to chew food normally. No words can express how grateful I am for my straight teeth and ability to chew normally thanks to Dr. Schmitz. Your teeth are in good hands with him.

I had my wisdom teeth removed and it was an easy experience. They filed my insurance claim and I just paid a copay. I will take all my kids as soon as they need their wisdom teeth out.
