I am a nurse RN of 35 years. I came to Dr. Schmidt with a tall order from having fallen through the cracks. He was very thorough, competent, kind, concerned and genuine. I’ve never had a doctor be so thorough and spend so much time with me. He thinks outside the box. I’m glad I found a Dr of DO. The staff was great, efficient and competent. Kudos! I will travel out of my way to continue with him in Sanibel.

Great doctor
I saw Dr Schmidt as a walk in when I couldn’t get in to my pcp. He got me in right away and was incredibly thorough. Great to have him on island. I made a follow up to switch to him as my new pcp.

Dr Schmidt is the golden example of what a primary care physician is! Clint and I feel blessed to have been accepted to his practice. Renee his medical assistant goes above and beyond to care for patients. I wish I could bring her back to Michigan to work at my office!

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Schmidt. During my first visit with him he was patient, kind, thoughtful and truly attentive. He is knowledgeable and takes the time to not only listen to your concerns but also explain what might be happening with you physically and/or emotionally. My second visit mirrored my first. Dr. Schmidt is a rare breed of physician. I am feeling quite blessed to have Dr. Schmidt on my medical health team and am grateful that I found a GP who is obviously there to work with the patient to address their personal issues without a cookie cutter approach.

Dr. Schmidt was excellent. This is the first time I have ever had a doctor really explain what they were doing/looking for during a physical. He also listened intently and satisfactorily answered all my questions and concerns without feeling rushed.
