Worst doctor ever. Went for 10 years, never did labs, ran from exam room w/out warning never to return, not helpful. CLOSED DOORS WITH NO WARNING. Beware and go elsewhere.

Dr Robertson is very caring and does take time with you. This is probably why he runs behind and you have to wait so long in the waiting room. Office staff is a mess. They are not very professional and constantly mess up my bill. As other posters said the office staff can be downright rude.

Try calling and making an appointment, I was on hold for 18 minutes, mind you I was "2nd in line to speak with a rep". Then, I needed to talk to Nurse Bates for a family concern and that was an additional 10 minutes and I didn't even get to speak with her, I got to speak with her helper who started out very assertive and basically rude until I had to be assertive and make this woman understand the reasoning behind my call. I will never recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Robertson is way overbooked and you end up sitting in the waiting room and exam room for quite a long while before being seen. Also, he is not very specific when it comes to diagnosing issues and is very difficult to get to prescribe medications. Trying to get orders/xrays sent to specialists is terrible. His nurse is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. You have to leave messages when you call and she hardly ever returns patient calls.

Not happy in Newark, Ohio – Aug 10, 2016

If you enjoy having to repeat everything to at least three different nurses, assistants and the doctor you will like this office. The front desk lady is rude and told me that since I did not want to see the nurse practitioner then I would just run out of my maintenance rx because I could not see the doctor for at least two weeks! Phone calls left on the dr voicemail are rarely returned even when you call multiple times and request a call back. After 10 years with him, we have had enough.

Dr. Robertson and his nurses are friendly. I'm not a fan of his nurse practitioner and his office staff is rude. I'm not at all happy and looking for a new family doctors office.

My only complaint with Dr. Robertson's office is that he seems to have a very heavy patient load, so that it is often a long wait to see him (sometimes a week even for an acute illness). He recently added a nurse practitioner to the practice, to alleviate this problem. However, his office staff is consistently respectful and friendly, and Dr. Robertson himself is extraordinarily thorough and caring. He takes time to listen to me, and to explain conditions or treatments thoroughly.

talks more than he listens. Does not aggressively diagnose issues. Leaves you with the same symptoms, no diagnosis and no hope to correct. Also leaves me looking for a new doctor. The sad part is there is a good doctor at the same office but I am told I cannot switch to him as a patient. Apparently it happens too much. always in a hurry! This doctor is running a patient mill here... how many can I fit in an hour!
