Very patient and understanding, he has been treating me for over 20 years. Very good bedside manner treats you like a person rather than just another number.

Excellent Doctor
Dr. John Rizzo is incredible. Not only has he taken great care of my health, but also he is great to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care.

Saw Dr. John Rizzo for the first time today. I had an emergency, I couldn’t swallow. Dr. Rizzo made room in his busy schedule to see me. He is a very caring doctor. Dr. Rizzo takes his time to listen to you. He is a very patient doctor who knows what he’s talking about.

Dr. Rizzo is an excellent physician. There are not enough superlative words to say, so let me start off with knowledgeable, caring, a great listener, and diagnostion. He leaves no stone unturned. But also wrapped up in this man he cares.

I found Dr. Rizzo to be quite cold. While he helped me with one gastro issue, he completely missed the boat on another and I ended up having surgery to remove part of my colon.

Not sure why he has so many good reviews. He is a nice guy, but as a doctor he lacks knowledge. He can't diagnose correctly! HOW are you a doctor if you can't diagnose. He also has a lot of "I dont knows". well if you dont know, please refer me to a gastro who does. please don't waste your time and find a better gastro. This field is difficult enough with not enough research and treatments. Dont make things worse by going to a doctor who "doesn't know" and can't diagnose. you deserve better.

HE was terrible. :(. He was no help at all. Very cold and does not make time to speak to you in person or on phone. He didn't help me find a diagnosis. Never returned phone calls. Please stay away from this doctor.
