My Mother in Law saw Dr. John. He brought up past records that the other providers never mentioned to her. He also spotted a lump behind her ear that could be cancerous that her other providers missed. I think he will be a wonderful Dr.

My December visit was rescheduled 4 times. Visit this MD only if you like to be jerked around. I will get another MD. During visit he will read the results of the blood test. That's about it!

He is extremely rude and self-absorbed. He talks at you, but does not listen. There was much "patient teaching," but no discussing, no two-way communication, and (sadly) no trust or respect from me. He also kept looking at the time, and told me when our time was up because he had other patients to see.

Ehhhh My parents see him and are not pleased with his bedside manner. In particular his outspoken mantra about how doctor's don't make any money now days. WHAT? How is the subject of money relevant to a patient's care? I was appalled hearing this. Doc! Get your act together please. I'm sorry the medical profession has changed and not as financially rewarding. I know you had to have spent a lot of your money on your education and, your time and effort- kudos to you on that note but discussing your dissatisfaction w/ your patients is unprofessional, rude, and unacceptable.

I started going to Dr. Olson prior to Dr. John buying the practice. I wasn't impressed and I found the receptionist rude. I felt like they really didn't care about their patients, but we had just moved here and it was hard to find a doc. When I first went to Dr. John, I found him a little standoffish, but he had just bought the practice and moved to Montrose so I'm sure he was getting adjusted. My last appointment was excellent. He was very engaged and I felt he really wants to help me. His office keeps in contact with me regarding my results of tests and contacts me when it's time for more. With the previous regime, I had to call the office to find out what was going on. I have seen a great improvement and feel very secure with Dr. John.

With some serious health issues a new doc for me was iffy. Dr. "John" however has ultimately impressed me with his knowledge and concern for my welfare, even to the point of calling me after hours to check on my status. I recommend him as a general practice family doctor who meshes well with my team of specialists. He is serious about preventing prescription pain killers and has stringent guidelines and I don't mind. I highly recommend him. Steven Baker, Montrose

I would not recommend Dr Ridadeneyra. I was misdiagnosed, given medication that made my symptoms worse, and was poorly treated. He really needs to work on his bedside manner.
