Dr. John Rathbun, MD

My mother was his patient for 4 years. On multiple occasions he tried to change her meds to one’s that always left her worse mentally and physically. Every time I would fight Dr R on the change but he ignored and said it had to be done. After the 4th time changing meds, she began projectile vomiting on day 2. I left messages but no call that day. Called next day and they were closed. Mom then had a seizure so we took her to ER. She was in the midst of withdrawals from the meds Dr R took her off cold turkey. I called the office the next day with those details. The office still waited more than 24 hours to call me back agreeing to put her back on her regular meds. Needless to say we moved mom to another doc immediately.

Still waiting for a script from July 2021, it’s December 1st, 2021… plus blood work done, the cost was astronomical $$ and it was routine BW, I always check cost because I’m on my insurance side, excessive costs I report. My insurance is there for me, not excessive cost…. Too many errors and too quick an appointment, I need to be able to ask questions, not be hurried out

Dr. John Rathbun is the best internal medicine/primary care physician I have ever had while living in several states. Going to this doctor is hands down the best medical decision I ever made in my 73 year lifetime…I have referred others to him over the years and not a single one has ever left him…I would give him 6 stars if I could…!

After finding several misdiagnosis on my insurance account, I checked with him about it. He didn't know anything about them and said that his records didn't show these problems. I showed him the info from the insurance company and he didn't have anything to say about it. I found out that this has been a problem at this office for quite a while but has not been corrected. It was then that I decided to find another doctor. I am very happy with who I am seeing now.

Dr. Rathbun is an excellent Doctor who takes the time to listen to your concerns, and follow up on your care till you are well again. His staff is kind, friendly, and professional too! We feel blessed to have him as our Dr.

Dr Rathbun has been my Primary Physician since 1990. I haave a very complicated medical history and I feel absolutly sure that his prompt and thorough attention has saved my life on at least 2 occasions. I would recommend him very highly.

Dr Rathbun is a doctor that truly cares about his patients. He does not rush through the appointment like many doctors do these days. He will take his time and perform a very thorough checkup to ensure a correct diagnosis. You almost feel like a family member as opposed to just a patient. Dr. Rathbun was recommended to me by a neighbor who himself was a retired doctor. Highly recommend!

Dr Rathbun is my and my husbands doctor. He has over the years become someone that we can trust when it comes to our health. My husband was recently sent to hospital for pneumonia and the level of care and dedication Dr. Rathbun had for my husband to get better will never be forgotten. He is one in a million.
