Extremely knowledgeable
Our entire family has been going to Dr razor for 11 years and he has been wonderful throughout the entire time. If he doesn't think he is knowledgeable enough about something he will send you to a specialist. He also tries to save me money by telling me where I can purchase medical supplies cheaper and making sure that my insurance will cover a certain prescription or feature before he gives it to me. He is the most dedicated and precise doctor I have ever met. He doesn't slack off or make light of any situation. He's also eager to explain things with talk and drawings if need be. He wants to make sure that you understand your diagnosis. He is well worth our 1 hour drive from Davison to Howell. I can't say enough about his kindness, patience and bedside Manor. I always feel like I am a part of the process. He's very humble and you don't feel like he's looking down on you or putting you on a level lower than himself. We would drive 2 hours each way if it meant keeping him as our doctor.

Office staff is always kind and thoughtful. That’s saying something because I always schedule earliest appointment possible. The M.A’ s are nice and a pleasure to talk with. Dr. Rasor always takes the time to run through all my follow up tests and medication review. Very informative and always a pleasure to see.

Dr. Rasor's office
Dr. Rasor treats me for a chronic pain condition with associated complications. He and his staff, from the doctor to the receptionist are among the very best I have ever encountered. Always treated with care and respect despite currently having very limited treatment options. They never make me feel like a burden and are extremely careful in the treatment program we have in place. I can't recommend these folks highly enough.

Dr Rasor continued to be current on best treatments for conditions. Always listens and never make us feel rushed. He also has great follow through on labs with recommendations to improve out of range labs. We’ve known Dr Rasor for 25 years and hope to keep him as our PCP until he retires.

I'm not sure what the other reviews are about but my experience with Dr. Rasor is way different. I've been going to him for 2 years now. He's been a true blessing from God. I have several chronic health conditions. He has helped me so much. With each visit he sits down looks over his notes from our previous visits and will follow up on those first and than we'll talk about any new conditions that may have come up. He sits and listens to me no matter how long it takes. He didn't just throw pills down your throat he offers you suggestions and if you tell him you don't want pills and ask him for advice on how to best treat the condition without meds he'll give you recommendations and even books to read to self guide you. If I have a problem prior to my visit I've emailed him on the patient portal and he's always emailed me right back right away. Usually within 24hrs but it never takes that long. New staff that's friendly. Want the old fashion doc, he's it.

Let me start by saying we were patients of Dr Rasor for over 15 years. We thought we were in good hands with his care for our health. My husband who very rarely goes to see the doctor found himself needing to go due to some concerns with his throat. Dr. Rasor was not available for a long time (has become the norm he was always too busy for appointments) so he was directed to his assistant Eva. This was last year. During the visit my husband made mention of some of the issues he was having i

Dr Rasor is a knowledgeable doctor. As a patient of his for about 15 years I've seen him for many different issues. When he moved to the new office things went down hill. Its almost impossible to get an appointment. You can see the other dr, which I have, or the PA. But I prefer my dr. Lately his new staff is rude and disrespectful. Unfortunately, my husband and I have decided to go with another practice. Sorry to say goodbye to Dr Rasor but I also need a staff I can deal with.

When you live in the Florida sun for almost 12 months a year it's important that sun cancer checkup is a major concern. Each year since we moved to Florida in August 2010 Gloria and I would return to Michigan and Doctor John Rasor with his artist touch and his instruments would carefully correct any skin problems and make me look much younger than my 80 years of ware. Like the time Gloria fell on the curb in front of Rolison's Hardware Brighton Michigan and split her eye brow in two Dr Rasor's

Dr. Rasor is an excellent doctor and uses technology to comply with government regulations and keep track of medications and medical records of his patients. I was very impressed with his understanding of complex medical issues and his ability to solve long-standing problems quickly and inexpensively.
