Dr. John Piersma, MD

Dr. Piersma is an amazing Doctor and I would recommend him to everyone seeking very attentive, knowledgeable and thorough medical care. Dr. Piersma is compassionate, he is an excellent listener and he does not rush any visit, whether it be for an immediate medical concern or for an annual physical. Annual physical examinations are very thorough and tailored to address my individual needs and concerns. Dr. Piersma is incredibly thorough yet down to earth when explaining anything medical related and options for treatment. He is also very personable and shares info about himself, his family and personal events. Dr. Piersma has always been accessible at all hours and is quick to respond my medical needs. 5 stars across the board and I have been a patient of Dr. Piersma for over 12 years. I also know Dr. Piersma is a Doctor’s Doctor (a Specialist I see annually is a patient of Dr. Piersma) which speaks volumes of his medical expertise.

I've been a patient of Dr. Piersma's for over 12 years. He cares not only for patients' physical well-being, but mental health. Dr. Piersma is thorough, addresses and listens to every one of my concerns (no matter how small), and I've never felt rushed or that I was being dismissed. When I recently traveled to Uganda, and developed a minor health issue, he responded immediately to my text message(s), and provided guidance on how to deal with it. He is also very mindful about sending any necessary prescriptions that might be needed when traveling overseas where care is less than adequate. Thank you Dr. Piersma!

Dr Piersma listend to my complaint and worked to get me seen for urgent evaluation of my problem. Because of his timely referral I am well.

When my anxiety was getting terrible last year and became unmanageable, Dr. Piersma was there for me to help me find way to PREVENT them from happening again. Not just throw pills at me and tell me I'll be fine. He really genuinely cares about his patients and without him I don't know how I would have made it. Here I am a year 13 months after it all went down and I'm a lot better compared to then! Thank you so much John, you are the best!

I absolutely love Dr. Piersma! I have him for my primary care physician. He listens well, never gives the impression that I'm taking up too much time. He was recommended to me by my doctor in Michigan before we moved to Cinci and I couldn't be happier. (They were med-school students together)

I've been going to Dr. P for a few years now. He takes time with you during the appointment and is willing to discuss your concerns, not just tell you what he wants you to do. I value a doctor who actually takes my opinion into consideration.

I have been going to Dr. Piersma since he started with the Aderson Pritice and have had nothing but great experiences every time I've gone to see him. He has taken the time to make sure I am doing well both mentally and physically.

Cold hearted, doesn't listen to what you say. Asked for Z Pak and was given something different, asthma inhaler and wasn't given a prescription for. Totally didn't listen to me and my concerns. Don't waste your time.
