Terrible experience
Had melanoma surgery, and on the imaging there was a note for follow-up with something else that was seen - which I am now in the process of taking care of. Dr. Pender not only didn't say anything to me about it, he and his office also neglected to correctly set up my follow-up appointment. Bedside manner was awful. I felt like there was no adult in charge as I was told he had the education of a kindergartener and was just the technician removing parts. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Do not waste your time
Exceptionally poor experience, do not recommend. No compassion or listening skills, no bedside manner. I’m sorry I asked for a referral here. I’ll be going elsewhere for care. We all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect no matter what situation we are coming from.

Had No Idea what he was suppose to remove.
Initial visit was fine, he was going to coordinate with another hand surgeon to do both procedures at once. Never Happened, and never called me to schedule his end so when I called them they stumbled all over themselves and had the receptionist relay to me that I would need another consult-WHAT? I don't think so, finally called and got some nurse on the line that gave me an appt. @ 1030 am she had NO idea what part of the body so I broke it down for her...got there that morning and 1st thing the nurse was rude- Pender comes in wants me to reach around to the top of my back and start circles out where these clearly large lumps are that are painful- not to mention I still had my street clothes on pulled up around my neck- he's asking questions the nurse is blowing off questions, I'm nervous going under anesthesia again within 2 weeks. He abruptly leaves the room and says once I am gowned up he will come back so he knows where to cut- HuH? My daughter looks @ me and says nope. We left!
