Everyone was very nice

Dr. Paek was extremely professional in his communications and bedside manor as I dealt with pancreatitis and an enlarged gallbladder with stones. He kept me informed of the tests I was to have to nail down my system problems and the provide the solution to make me get healthy again. I would recommend him to anyone with gallbladder issues.

I was transported to my hospital for an appendectomy. I arrived at the hospital at 3:30am and the night nurses kept refusing to call the doctor to update my pain meds (which I had already been granted), when Dr. Paek came to check on me in the morning to brief me on the upcoming surgery he found me in tears. When I had explained that the nurses had denied me pain meds for 6 hours and wouldn’t call the doctor, he immediately left and I could hear him yelling down the hall at the nurses to figure out what was going on. I got my meds within 30 minutes. Surgery went great, and he was just as nice and caring at my follow-up. While I don’t necessarily recommend the facility because of the nurses, I’d recommend him any day!

I was transported via ambulance for appendix surgery. It was terribly busy in the ER and I had to wait 8.5 hours to get a room. Dr. Paek came out to check on me multiple times, each time apologizing for the wait and making sure I was as comfortable as possible. He was calm & kind in what was, for me, a difficult time. My recovery from surgery was amazing. I had gallbladder surgery several years ago in Lufkin and was in so much pain, with incredible bruising. It took me weeks to recover . This was a totally different and awesome experience. I’m currently 10 days post surgery and have zero bruising, no pain and little to no soreness. I thanked Dr. Paek for doing such a great job and he turned it back to me and said I was an easy patient. His humbleness is refreshing, and I am truly blessed to have been his patient.
