Dr. John Oeltjen, MD

Terrible experience not a competent or skilled surgeon. He does not care what type of disfigurement he leaves a patient with for greed. Difficult to schedule dog ear revision he created. Put off, phone calls or portal messages not returned. Not a Dr. that has any honor or respect for patients. Had to seek help elsewhere to fix his mess. Not a good plastic surgeon.

Poor very disappointing.

I decided to have Dr. O do a breast implant exchange which was covered by my insurance because it was a medically necessary procedure. I was also having a small about a breast cancer removed at the same time After I woke up from surgery within a day, the drain was removed, the dent filled in so any further tweaks down the road will not be necessary. I was completely healed within a month. I love the work and can’t believe I waited this long, 10 years to have this done.

Dr. Oeltjen is a very caring doctor. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for your Plastic surgery needs.

Dr. Oeltjen performed a bilateral immediate reconstruction following double mastectomy. At the initial consultation, he took the time to provide a thorough explanation of the procedure, benefits, risks and expected outcome. The surgery and recuperation proceeded exactly as he explained. His warm and friendly bedside manner and expert skill as a plastic surgeon made a difficult diagnosis and treatment easier to handle. He was available for any questions after surgery and between follow up visits. I highly recommend Dr. Oeltjen.

Dr. Oeltjen has been my Dr. since the beginning of my cancer journey 10 yrs ago. I can not thank him enough for being such a down to earth Dr. and making my journey easier. His goal is to make you feel and look as normal as possible and I must say that I am often complimented by other Dr's on my breast implants. Unfortunately, I have to go back and have a FLAP procedure due to them rupturing after a car accident. I know he will take care of me and I actually look forward to this surgery.

My name is Daisy Grigg and I was diagnosed in February of 2016 with DCIS Breast Cancer. After being referred by my Breast Cancer Surgeon, Dr. Torres to Dr. Oeltjen I was pleased and immediately felt comfortable with the way he treated me and my husband through-out such a hard process. He is extremely professional, caring and understanding of your feelings. The best surgeon in my opinion. I am still following up with him but I have to say we are extremely happy with the results.

I found Dr. Oeltjen after six months of suffering from a horribly performed preventive bilateral mastectomy (positive BRACA) on July 2015 by another plastic surgeon. In December of 2015 Dr.Oeltjen did a corrective surgery to fix all damage previously done, damage was so severe he had to perform a third surgery two weeks ago..there are not enough words of gratitude that can express my feelings towards Dr. Oeltjen, his assistant Natasha and sweet receptionist Janelys. I am forever grateful, Daisy
