Dr. John Mozena, DPM

At first I hated the laser surgery for a very painful ingrown toenail. Very painful for a couple of weeks. After it was healed, I have had no trouble at all with that toe, better than ever! Now I want to get the other one done.

Terrible. Screwed my toes up so bad. Told me I had hammer toe and removed cartilage between the bones. Now my toes just kinda dangle. One looks like it doing a left turn. He put a pin in my big toe on one of his surgeries. Well that didn’t straighten my toe it went back to the same way it was. After He took the pin out because It felt like I was walking on a £.16 nail. Now the toe next to my big toe rubs on my big toe and drives me absolutely nuts. I’m scared to death to go back to complain. He probably screwed up worse than it is. Think I’ll try to go to another foot Dr. He does talk a million mph. I think he screws up more than he does good. Reminds me of a fast food place In-N-Out Burger. I’d score him -3

If there were no stars, that’s what I would have chosen. I didn’t see any recent reviews and what reviews l did see were very old. I made my appointment 3 weeks in advance, receptionist check in very slow and lazy. Waited in reception room for 40 minutes then shuffled to Dr’s room and had to wait another 35 minutes. I opened the door and stood there waiting for anyone to walk by to make sure Someone knew I was even there. Mozena came out of another room and shuffled me back in saying he’d be right back. When he came in he talked 100mph then had to stop to dictate on his tape recorder before I could talk again. Awful bedside manner, misdiagnosed, and had my foot X-ray taken at end of visit. He said I had a torn tendon and sent me away with a giant boot to wear until next appointment 3 weeks later. I saw every patient walking out the door with the boot. I was slightly amazed with his X-ray vision to see my torn tendon without doing MRI or even looking at X-ray first.

Long time patient of Dr. Mozena who has fixed every problem I have had with my feet. He has kept me walking for years. I inherited bad feet and wearing high heels when I was younger only caused more problems as I got older.
