Dr Mercuri and his staff as well as everyone at GCMC were very professional and very attentive. I would recommend Dr Mercuri and I have already discussed the procedure with many friends.

I was comfortable from the first visit. Everything was explained in great detail. My surgery went well. Pain was super well controlled. Outcome was great. Very good range of movement, and no pain. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mercuri. I will chose him when I am ready to do my other knee.

Dr. Mercuri and his team are absolutely wonderful! They are very compassionate and caring but also thorough and professional. I came to Dr. Mercuri with a very confusing and complicated case but he didn't give up on it and worked hard till we got it figured out. He does very well at including me in decisions and making sure I know what is going on. Through multiple surgeries, I now have a pain free total hip replacement. I am so thankful to him and his whole team for all their help! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have total joint surgery!

I received a knee replacement in one knee in June of 2024. The experience was so good that I received a knee replacement in the opposite leg in the following September. Dr. Mercuri was friendly, professional, thorough and informative throughout the entire process.

Dr. Mercuri was very informative and very caring . His staff was very helpful and couldn’t do enough for me great office.

This doctor presented himself as congenial, professional and competent. After I had my surgery he revealed himself to be the exact opposite. I was screamed and yelled at by this man. Despite that, I decided to have him replace my other knee since at least the surgery went well. I had problems with my second knee replacement. He and his nurse blew off all my concerns. My last visit I requested to see my x-rays. I was shown murky non-descript x-rays and told everything was fine. Afterwards, still in pain, I sought out another knee surgeon. This surgeon showed me crystal clear x-rays. I could easily see what this surgeon pointed out. In both knees already had issues with the glue used, there were no supportive stems inserted into the bone under my knee and the knee that hurt (and still hurts 2 years later) was placed at the wrong angle. I'm sure that Mercuri was aware of this but lied to me. My knee is already popping out of its socket.

Dr. Mercuri and his staff were caring and took the time needed to explain all options and treatment. He was knowledgeable and always available for questions over the 3 years or so that I have been a patient. I have had both knees replaced by Dr. Mercuri, a year apart, and it was one of the best decisions I have made for my health. I highly recommend him and his staff for any knee issues that you may be having.

Staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Back to Mecuri is top-notch technology. I walked out of the operating room, went home and walked to work. The next day, some pain is expected a little swelling. I was able to function fully in two weeks. Kudos the team.

I met Dr Mercuri back in 2020 when I was experiencing R Hip Pain. Both he and his staff are sensitive and caring to your needs. Fast forward to 2024, I have now had both hips replaced and with the L Hip, I was home the same day. Great aftercare, Great Doctor, Great Team

I waited many years before electing to have knee replacement due to the stories of pain, recovery and opioids for pain reduction. I did have both steroid and simvisc (sp?) injections several times which did not help. Fortunately, a woman who had her first knee replacement recommended Dr. Mercuri and said she had no significant pain, no need for opioids, and recovery was fast and uncomplicated. I made an appointment with Dr. Mercuri within 48 hours and received total knee replacements for both left and right knees. The entire team made both procedures surprisingly pleasant with a very fast recovery. I have recommended Dr. Mercuri and his team to many people since and will continue to do so.

He provided many resources and tools to assist with the explanation of the procedure before and after surgery. I plan to have my other hip replaced in the near future. Dr. Mercuri and his staff are amazing. He his polite, very informative, explains everything thoroughly and actually talks to you like a person. Since the day I met him 3 months ago I have had nothing but faith in him and his services fast forward to today and I am already walking and home after having a total hip replacement. Prior to being discharged at around 4 he made it his priority to check on me even though my surgery was this morning. He works wonders he is great at what he does and I will never trust anyone with my orthopedic needs besides him and his staff.
