Best urologist in Florida
Dr Mekras I s our family urologist. Removed stones from my dad’s kidneys several years and now just performed similar procedure on my aunt. Saved their kidneys. He’s the best and has a kind compassionate soul. Highly recommended.

CANCER LATE STAGE, Aggressive and very advanced. Complements of Mekras, after 7 yrs of relying on him, it was 7 yrs of mesicating away the symptoms of a MASSIVE tumor

Dr. Mekras has been known and respected as one of the BEST urologists in So. Florida for many years. Professional, personable and surrounded by a great staff., not to mention easy parking and centrally located. HIGHLY recommend

I never presented with a uro problem that he could not solve. Kind, personal, and unhurried. waiting time can be bad sometimes, but well worth it.

Thank God we found this Dr. He is special for sure. He is very caring and what is truest awesome is how the nurses feel free to call him at anytime of day if a problem arises. He came twice daily to check on my husband who was in hospital for a week. He’s like those old fashioned doctors who go the extra mile for his patients. Highly recommend him.

Visiting Dr. Mekras was such a relief from the typical visit to a doctors' office. In addition to his professionalism and his explanation of presenting the diagnosis and the treatment of symptoms, he always made time to inquire about my husband's life. The night my husband died, Dr. Mekris happened to be in the hospital as he frequently was, and was the only doctor present during those last moments and I never thanked him for his empathy.

Fantastic doctor - caring, knowledgeable, performs only necessary noninvasive procedures and tests - not those that hurt more than help. He such a great doctor - the best urologist you can find - I've been seeing him for years. He's not even on my insurance plan. He puts tthe well being of the patient first. You can get emergency visits if needed - staff is always helpful in that way.
