Knowledgeable and caring
I was fortunate to be in this doctor's care in my emergency involving 3 blockages. He has been my cardiologist for 10 years, and I have never had reason to doubt his judgement, his skills, or his knowledge. When I was again needing him 4 years ago and needed to have an emergency angiogram, my hospital nurse told me he believed Dr Mehegan was the best and that if he had a cardiac need, Dr Mehegan would be his first choice. I would recommend him to anyone without reservation. My deceased husband was also a patient of Dr Mehegan, and I believe he gave him the finest care possible.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Mehegan?
Not impressed. Left sitting in room while he talked to nurses about his weekend plans. Medication he prescribed failed to control racing heartbeat. No follow up. Went to PCI and Dr changed meds immediately. PCI Dr followed up personally to see how I was doing. New meds were highly effective. When you are dealing with cardio function there is no room for error. I have no confidence in Dr. Mehegan.
