Horrible. I filled out a detailed questionnaire six weeks before my first appointment. I took all of my records with me, in condensed form, that were my originals, for the office staff to copy, per request. The wait was not long. I was met by his aide, a very efficient, chilly person. I was sitting in a chair in a very rudimentary, drab cubicle with cracked but polished floor, two bulletin boards on the wall, with some 4x6 photos posted in the corners. Dr. Mathis walked in, introduced himself, then plopped hdown on the examination table. He never cracked a smile. I gave a brief bio of how we came to live in the area, commented on the bulletin board photos, asked about his children, then he got up, said his aide would return, good bye and left!!!??? His aide came in with a sheet for an appointment for a month later. For what? Review of my records. No exam.By then I had made up my mind not to return. Asked for my records. They were sent somewhere else, she said to copy.
