Dr. John Mascaro, DMD

Awesome Doctor and awesome staff. I was referred to another doctor that had horrible reviews and decided to go to Dr Mascaro's office and I'm so glad I did!! I thought I was going to need a bone graft after my tooth extraction but Dr. Mascaro explained that it wasn't necessary. He and his staff are very attentive, knowledgeable, caring and just make you feel very comfortable. Dr. Mascaro even personally called me in the evening to check on me. WOW! I did not have any real pain or discomfort. Thank you.

I had an implant done today with Dr Mascaro and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He is extremely patient, kind, caring and reassures you by answering all your questions. His staff is also very customer friendly oriented. I have had implants before with another provider who retired so it’s always hard to start over and be 100% assured you’ll be okay. Obviously, it’s a procedure no one wants to go through but they try to make it as painless as possible. I truly felt I was in great hands with Dr. Mascaro!

I am an RN and can be very picky regarding healthcare practitioners. I want knowledge, skill, and KINDNESS when I am a patient. Dr. Mascaro and his staff exhibit all three.

My advice is to know exactly what your dental insurance covers. I called mine before my procedure and was advised at that time that everything would be covered. I gave my insurance the procedure codes. They assured me they would be covered. Turns out, sedation and tumor removal were not covered. Even though I was told originally that they were covered. Even though my procedure afterward states “with complications”. The procedure took longer than anticipated. I came out of the sedative and was given another dose. $2,759.00 out of pocket cost to me. Maxed out my dental insurance for the year. At the beginning of the year. So I can’t return for a follow up MRI to see if the bone is regenerating. That will be fully out of pocket. No teeth cleaning at my dentist. If I have a dental problem or emergency, it will be fully out of pocket. Still have jaw pain. Unable to apply any bite pressure. I’m in my 6th week of recovery. This is all very stressful and all consuming. Understand your insuranc

OK I don't normally go out of my way to leave review like this, but I am going to. Dr. Choi was the surgeon that pulled my tooth today. Very nice guy,whole staff was awesome. Very reasonable price, didn't feel a thing until later in the day, which is normal. Dr. called at night personally and wanted to make sure I was ok. Just excellent all around, highly recommend this place!

I would definately refer Dr. Mascaro to anyone that has any kind of tooth problem. He was so very careful in making me as comfortable as possible considering my condition. He is very efficient but very quick in what he does. I was so uncomfortable going in but was so grateful for him by the time I got done. His staff are the most caring people that you will ever have and meet. I am now on the road to recovery because of Dr. Mascaro and his staff. Thank you all very much!!
