This is my general practitioner. Every time I have been there, I have gotten nothing but the best service. De. Maddox and his staff of CRNP and nurses have the best bedside manner. They don’t rush you in and out and they listen to you. I love this office. Wouldn’t trade doctors.

We have been trying for 7 months to get an appointment with Doctors in Andalusia through Triwest. Triwest recommended we contact the doctor's office directly and we did. We were told Dr. Maddox took Triwest and we had to fill out the new patient paperwork to see if he could be seen. We scanned the paperwork and were told that Dr Maddox declined him but did not say why. It is a absolute shame he served this country and can not get local care. Our congresswoman is getting contacted and so are the local media.

Insurance companies and their requirements have seemed to have destroyed this otherwise good practitioner. My secondary insurance required that I get a referral from him for my insurance. I understood that he would want to see me in order to do this. His bedside manner and words to me were unprofessional and way out of line.... I quote "I am not a freekin secretary". He got to bill for that office visit. I am sure he is glad that I won't see him again.

I see Dr. Maddox’s nurse practitioner, Ericca and I have always had a great experience at his office. Everyone I have encountered has always been friendly and helpful. I’ve met Dr. Maddox twice when Ericca consulted with him and he was always nice as well. No issues here!

I would NOT recommend Dr. Maddox. When my husband was dying and Hospice was ready to come in, he wouldn't sign off on it. He wanted another visit, even though he knew he was dying, and had told me so during our visit less than a month before we requested Hospice. He needed a hospital bed and more care than Home Health Care could provide, but when Hospice went to him, he refused to sign the papers. My husband died last week
