Not a compassionate person. Very rude at times.

I loved my time with Dr. Littleton and now that I have moved have had a hard time finding someone to live up to his standard. Although he is in psychiatry and able to prescribe medicine, I have never had an appointment less than 30 min of one on one time (not 30 min start to finish) and even up to an hour, because he is intentional and insistent that he has a full understanding of the patient's feelings, circumstances, background, etc. before making any prescription decisions. It is not a replacement for therapy but it does feel good to talk about similar therapy topics to the person who is prescribing my medicine so they dont go in blind. He's compassionate and does a great job, but will be honest and blunt. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. I saw him through the University of Kentucky health services and while he was there it was very easy to get an appointment.

I liked him a bunch. My little brother passed away from meningitis and when I got back to school I had an awkward crying moment when a very well-meaning/confused GP was persistently asking why I had recently received a meningitis vaccination and some crazy-strong antibiotics. Dr Littleton was very nice, logical, and we talked about kayaking and rock climbing and med school. I like him. Appreciated his time.
