A Personal Viewpoint
As a patient, I have a different view about some of the comments left here. Especially about Dr. Lee’s staff. I have found it true that there are times when his staff is overwhelmed. During these times it can appear the staff members are uncaring but the real cause is they are, at times, under staffed. Dr Lee is a very good and popular doctor hence, he is very busy. One must remember there is only one doctor at his clinic and that is Dr. Lee. I have found Dr Lee and his staff are very caring about their patients. For example Eleanor (office manager) was recently on the phone with my insurance company for over 2 hours helping me get a much needed imaging scan that was initially being denied by my insurance company. Dr Lee is not only caring but he is extremely knowledge. I have a scientific background and I can attest to Dr. Lee’s ability to stay abreast of new diagnostics and medicines, even given his busy schedule. I have been with Dr Lee for a number of years and I plan to stay.

Sorry Excuse for Office Manager and Staff.
Wife and I went to Dr. Lee for 10 years. He’s amazing and when he was at Hill Country Medical with his nurse Amanda F’ing Amazing. He went out on his own practice, he was still good, no Amanda and his wife became his Office Manager. She fired my wife and I over a $10.00 invoice. Asked her to rebill it and wouldn’t. I told her if it’s $10.00 it is really $20.00 for both my wife and I.She confirmed I was right, she demanded the payment and I asked her to rebill it to the insurance she wouldn’t.4 years ago we moved from New Braunfels to San Antonio, this made a visit take 2 hours of drive time plus appointment time.At this point I said “Dealing with issues like this and having to always call multiple times for labs and results make us want to find a physician in San Antonio.I paid the $20.00.She then told me that this was an exit interview and we were no longer patients and had 30 days to find a new doctor.Would write more but am out of characters. She’s a C You Next Tues

Worst experience ever. I can't believe how rude the staff is. Phone is always busy. They never return calls. Waited 45 minutes to see Dr Lee for 5 minutes. He had the wrong chart when he first came into the room. When I asked for a copy of my bloodwork they refused and said I had to put in a request that could take 2 weeks. Was going out of town and they would not refill my BP meds even though I had seen him 2 weeks prior. Had to go to an Urgent Care to get meds. They claim to be a Christian office but they don't act that way. Very sad.......

Dr Lee is a very competent doctor. His office staff, however, managed by his wife, is incompetent, uncaring, and vindictive. I had a number of expensive tests run over a number of months to diagnose a medical condition I continue to experience. Subsequently, I relocated to a different state, and for the next 8 weeks tried in vain to have my medical records forwarded to another physician. At least 8 attempts were made by myself and the new physician's office - assurances were made, excuses were offered, but no records were ever sent. Now I'm forced to repeat the tests. Grace Family Medicine has nothing to do with Grace and Christian values - don't' be fooled.

Dr. Lee and Grace staff truly care
Dr. Lee often goes more than the extra mile for his patients, as does his tireless staff. I will say that the office manager is intractable and won’t call patients back as quickly as I would like.

Great doctor, inadequate staff!
Where do I begin! I have had so many issues with this office it's unbelievable! First issue you can never get through to the office, the phone is constantly busy. When you call in your rx refills with plenty of notice as they require, you still don't get your refills in a timely manner. You have to call the pharmacy and ask them to re-submit or try to contact the office and hope you don't get a busy signal. When you're given lab appointment by Gina and you show up, she informs you that it hasn't been three months since your last lab appointment, therefore insurance won't pay. Wasted trip! Recently, a procedure was charged to my insurance that wasn't rendered. I was told that the claim was correct and I was responsible for the balance since it went to my deductible. I explained the procedure wasn't done and it was billed incorrectly, but they refused to see my husband unless we paid. Denied all his refills! Devoted Christian behavior, I wonder?

My wife had MRI, MRA, CT scan of head/neck/shoulder area late afternoon last Thursday. As you can imagine, we were worried and anxious to know the results, but expected it will take at least a few days to hear from Dr. Lee. Well, he called us the NEXT DAY - Friday 6pm! He didn't want to leave us worried the whole weekend. Excellent physician with excellent training and character. My family of 5 - we are so thankful to have him as our family doctor.

OUTSTANDING DOCTOR! He is thorough...he LISTENS... he remembers what is going on in our lives and helps me make health decisions accordingly. He is the very first doctor my husband has trusted in about 40 years... and actually goes to see him when needed. I am so grateful to Dr. Lee and his staff.

Best doctor I have ever had! Doctor Lee actually listens to you, cares about your concerns and follows up on EVERYTHING. He is so thorough and really does his best to give you the right resources. He cares about your questions and your concerns and wants to know what you're thinking. I've never had a doctor follow up with me and check in on my progress and he did! Such a great and caring doctor and I can't say enough about him!
