I have been under Dr. Korman’s care at Upstate Dermatology for over 5 years. He has diagnosed and successfully treated multiple skin cancers. He is very thorough, takes a personal interest in his patients (rare in today’s world), and has a great bedside manner. I have recommended him to my entire family, and now he takes care of most of them as well! Well worth the wait!

We were referred to Dr. Korman for a rash on my son. He entered the room, immediately dismissive with a cocky attitude, consistently calling me “mom” in a very condescending way, not in the endearing way other doctors often do. He diagnosed my son without looking at him. When I encouraged him to look, he said he would in a minute (after some mansplaining, apparently). When I asked about his blood labs that I had with me, he didn’t want to hear about them. When I asked about other symptoms, he brushed it off. He literally dismissed us in under 5 minutes after barely looking at my child and saying, “Well it doesn’t look like traditional X, but I’m gonna call it that because of where it is” and prescribing us the same cream that hadn’t worked prior. Two weeks later after getting a second opinion (at a children’s hospital he supposedly trained in), my son was diagnosed with an incredibly serious, rare autoimmune condition requiring major long term treatment. Don’t trust this hack.

I made an appointment months in advance. I showed up 15 minutes early to complete 7 pages of paperwork. There were NO people in the waiting room, and two cars in the parking lot. I was put in a small room where I waited 25 minutes before leaving without having been seen. Then, they had the audacity to robocall me with a "missed appointment" message. If you value your time, avoid this office.

I have seen Dr Korman six times since 2018. His examinations are thorough. He is very professional and is very personable. I am very thankful for his early diagnosis of a melanoma (stage 1) and quick referral to an oncology surgeon for removal.

My son has a scheduled appointment. Within 2 minutes of our arrival, a patient left. No one was in waiting room and parking lot was scarce. My son and I waited in exam room for 30 min. No one checked in on us, apologized for the delay.. NADA. I could not wait any longer nor could my son as he had a scheduled exam. As we departed the exam room Dr. Korman had his feet propped up on work station desk, leaning back in chair, laughing with staff member. I explained we could not wait any longer, Dr. Korman replied, OK, BYE. No apology for making us wait- Nothing... but, OK, BYE!

WAITED 30 MINUTES when no patience were in office. Walked out of exam room to leave and Dr. Korman was sitting at test leaning back with legs proped up on desk. I told him we could not wait any longer. He said, OK... BYE. Not that he was sorry. Not that he would see my son now. Just OK, Bye.

My hisband and I have both received treatment in this office at least 6 times. Ive had several minor and one more complex procedure done in the office. Dr Korman and his entire staff are AMAZING! I would highly recommend and thats rare for me! The office is impecibly decorated and is very very clean! The support staff are caring and concerned. They listen and actually care about the patients. Dr Korman stays on time and goes the extra mile to explain things to patients!

I saw Dr. Korman for the first time about a month ago. He and his staff were incredible. Turned out I had a basal cell cancer that needed to be removed. When they called with those results they took the time to answer all my questions and discuss my options for surgery. Dr. Korman got on the phone with me personally and was very helpful with the decision. He is a class act and so is his staff.
