After months of having UTIs, Klein sent me for a CT scan. I got to the CT appointment only to be told Klein's office never sent the order. No response from Klein's office. Few days later Klein's office sent a new order but did not state that it was urgent and therefore would get me an appointment quickly. They never resent with the 'urgent' designation. Finally got the CT scan without contrast due to low kidney numbers. At the appointment with Klein, he disregarded the information from the scan and said it looks like the infection is gone. He gave me 'knuckles' and walked out the door. Oh, first he referred me to a female doctor who is better at women's issues. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do not go to this doctor.

Dr. Klein and Potomac Urology Review
I will begin my review with how I will end my review – Dr. Klein is a fantastic Urologist. I had serious issues with an enlarged prostate and Dr. Klein: 1. Is one of the most experienced Urologists in the area with the leading edge HoLEP and Aquablation procedures. 2. Explained the procedure options (risks) thoroughly, including PAE (which I probably would have done several years ago instead of meds). 3. Listened to my thoughts and concerns, and answered my questions clearly. 4. Solved my prostate problem with the HoLEP procedure without any complications. Please make a note that Potomac Urology is a very busy practice, so it can be difficult to get quick responses using the phone. It’s not fair to review a Doctor based on one’s phone communication experience as I have seen on some posts. The reason why they are so busy is 1) in the DC area, it seems that there are many people with urology related issues and 2) They are a great practice. Dr. Wong, Dr. Malhotra, several Nurses and

Dispensed expired medicine
1.) Performed excruciatingly painful Systoscopy. Then tried to make it funny saying: "some patients tolerate it better than others" 2.) As a result of the brutal, insensitive technique of Klein I urinated blood for 3 days. When I called seeking pain relief and assurance, he never answered rather just pushed it off on a nurse to write a pain-relief prescription. That pill provided no pain relief rather exacerbated the pain. 3.) After the extremely painful Systoscopy, I asked for something to ease the pain. He directed a nurse to provide a pill which turns your urine Blue while supposedly mitigating pain. It provided no relief. Later I discovered that medicine dispensed from the Potomac Urology in-house pharmacy, was expired. Potomac Urology is Klein's employer. 4.) I'm a 72 year old Mechanical Engineer. I don't get wrapped up over titles, we are all just people. I called Klein by his first name. He said I was being disrespectful because he wanted to be called: "Doctor"

I met Dr. Klein while hospitalized for a UTI due to BPH. After conducting diagnostic procedures in his office, Dr. Klein recommended the HoLEP laser procedure to correct my BPH. He prepared me for possible negative symptoms that I might expect, but I experienced no pain or negative effects. I am pleased that I was able to regain normal urinary functioning so quickly. I appreciate Dr. Klein’s skill with this procedure and his careful follow-up. I strongly recommend him.

I was urinating frequently and having to get up nearly 5 times a night, so my Physician referred me to Dr. Klein. After listening to my history and taking several tests, Dr. Klein explained his diagnosis and my treatment options in very understandable terms. I decided on the Resum option involving a minimally invasive procedure. It has dramatically reduced my need to urinate, my sleep is now interrupted about once a night, and I've already recommended Dr. Klein and Resum to several friends.

The Rezum procedure was conducted in the office and lasted about 60 to 90 minutes. I felt pretty good after the procedure. It has been about 4 weeks since the procedure and I am almost 100% recovered. Dr. Klein conducted all of the preliminary examinations leading up to the procedure and he conducted the procedure as well. He explained everything along the way. He explained my options and I am very pleased with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Klein!

I have been seeing Dr Klein about a prostate condition for the past two years. As a result of his recommendations, I undertook additional tests beyond the PSA, eventually including a biopsy which he performed. The biopsy turned up prostate cancer. The biopsy was done well: I had no problems. His discussion about my options, and insistence that I see a specialist in radiation treatment to compare with the option of surgery which he offers was much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Twice now I have been processed/prepped and shown to a room believing that the doctor's appearance with imminent; not the case. Certainly, doctors have busy schedules. I think it would help if assistants, after prep, would say with some accuracy when the doctor might appear. I was prepped, numbing medication applied and was left for nearly 30 minutes before the doctor showed. At one point (appt was late afternoon), things got so quiet that I thought everyone had left and I was forgotten.
