Dr. John King, MD

I met Dr King and staff in 2016 , 6 years after a major heart attack, having been on a heart transplant list (never needed) previous open heart and heart failure in Florida . Suddenly was in heart failure again with totally occluded RCA, my experience with Dr King and his staff was miraculous. Instead of devastating open heart I was treated , artery cleared and stented and went home the next day! After so many heartbreaking painful negative experiences in Florida for years , I was and still am in awe! I was walking and exercising that week and ever since . 68 now and work full time , work out heavy at the gym 6 days a week, I’m so thankful a hospitalist NP at a nearby small hospital released me and sent me straight to Dr King. At the time I was without hope, now I tell anyone who will listen and I’m so grateful and thankful to be alive !

Any time I saw Dr. King, he was personable but he was always in a hurry. I saw his NP's more often. Now I need an appointment, and no one is answering the phone.

I went because I was having heart palpitations. He noticed right away my thyroid medicine had been changed 3 months prior to a higher dose. He said sometimes that can be the cause. He lowered me back down to what I was on previous and heart palpitations have gone away. He was very thorough and even had me wear a heart monitor for 14 days to monitor the palpitations. I also had an echo to check the health of my heart. He has a very good bedside manner and is very friendly as well as easy to talk to, and will answer all your questions. I recommend him very highly.

Will not go back to him. Left the state and went to another cardiologist who went over my records. I was told if I continued seeing Dr. King I would’ve not survived 1 year. He was treating me with medication when I needed surgery.

I liked Dr King. He was direct and to the point as well as very down to earth and friendly. He’s not arrogant and delivers the message without trying to talk over your head. Outstanding bedside manner.

Managed by heart attack extremely well. He inserted 3 stents. His professional skills, and bed side manners were superb. His follow-ups were very well done. This is a special doctor that also deeply cares about his patients. I highly recommend him without any hesitation.
