Best Surgeon Ever
Dr Kairys performed my thyroid surgery in 2022. He was excellent in explaining the procedure to both my parents and I. He had a wonderful and caring demeanor. He barely left a noticeable scar. I was devastated when I heard he left Jefferson Hospital following reorganization. He is a renowned surgeon and I’m not happy with his former office to date.

I had a parathyroidectomy several years ago and Dr. Kairys did the surgery. He was the BEST!! Dr. Kairys explained everything in terms I could understand, and was right on target with diagnosis and recovery from surgery. An extremely competent professional!

I went to Dr. Kairys for a 2nd opinion regarding thyroid surgery. I was not expecting much , but was extremely pleased. He was excellent, explaining the anatomy of the thyroid, drew pictures, explained the downside of the surgery, etc.., as there are always risks. But as he pointed out, he has been in the field of thyroid/parathyroid surgery for many years; so the risks with him are minimal. If I do need surgery, I will go with him.

I have had surgery twice with Dr. Kairys. He is an extraordinary doctor. He took as much time as I needed during each visit to explain the what and the whys of what was ahead. His bedside manner is superb. He is the gold standard of how every doctor should be in medical expertise and seeing with the patient as a person. His follow-up care is also exemplary. He is just an amazing, warm and wonderful man. You will be in excellent hands under his care.

Dr. Kairys is an excellent doctor. I went to him for a 2nd opinion and he took the time to answer every question I had and even drew pictures to help me understand that surgery that he would be performing on me. He does not have a God-complex and was excellent with my family after my surgery. If I ever need thyroid surgery again, he is the doctor that I will go to.
