Dr. Hwang was extremely personable and informative!! His follow-up is impressive! I had a Hernia Repair and Gastric Sleeve on 9-13-21. I would highly recommend this surgeon!!

While on vacation I needed to have hernia surgery. Dr. Hwang’s office got me in quickly and scheduled surgery. The surgery went flawlessly. No pain medication was required. There was a little swelling that went away the next day & no bruising at all. Dr. Hwang has great bedside manners & took the time to explain the procedure in detail.

Went in for a procedure but was given no explanation about recovery time, no pre- or post-surgery care, the procedure was excruciating,he got blood on my clothe, and I was in severe pain afterwards. In fact, I am worse now (condition and pain) than before. He did not explain the pain associated with this surgery, and he made it seem like I'd be back exercising in a few days. I read later that the recovery time is 2-3 weeks and full anesthesia is used. He used a local. Brutal.
