Excellent experience so far!
Fractured my leg (tibia and fibula) and Dr. Hwang preformed the surgery and post care. He and his staff have always answered and explained all my questions. They always have kept me informed on what to expect and that is much appreciated. Five stars all the way around.

Dr. Hwang and Staff are LIFESAVERS!
Hip Replacement Surgery was NOT part of my Life Plan at the age of 73. After a nasty fall, I am grateful that Dr. Hwang & his staff (including OrthopedicOne Physical Therapy) came to my rescue! Professional, efficient, thorough, friendly and caring ~ I couldn't wish for more! THANK YOU!!

Excellent Orthopedic surgeon
I fell off a ladder and broke my heel (calcaneus) on Dec 30th, 2022. I was referred to Orthopedic one and Dr. John Hwang was my doctor. My initial meeting with Dr.Hwang was a somber one, as he told me the injury was bad and explained clearly what needs to be done to make things right. While I wasn’t happy with the news, Dr.Hwang was upfront and honest and didn’t sugar coat things. Dr.Hwang did my surgery and was the doctor for all my follow up appointments. He did a great job, both with surgery and my periodic visits. He is knowledgeable, patient, easy to talk to and great at what he does. In between visits, his secretary Mechelle was easily reachable and helped answer any questions. Thanks to Dr.Hwang, I am fully recovered with no pain and am able to perform almost all things I used to, before the injury. I highly recommend Dr.Hwang and Orthopedic One, as they are experts at what they do and provide top notch care and support.

Broken Femur
Dr Hwang did an amazing job of reconnecting a recently replaced knee to a femur which was broken in 2 places when i fell on this new knee (which then shattered the femur)! !

Dr. Hwang is an outstanding physician, in his field certainly, but moreover he is exceptional as a doctor who cares and really takes the time to listen and to explain, even when other matters of his practice are urgent. His skill, and most of all his kindness, helped me get through the aftermath of a serious car accident last year. He even took the time to call my home personally and ask about my well-being. I am very, very grateful that he dedicates his skills and his care to his patients.
