I was scheduled to see him after my original appointment with another one of their doctors had "left their practice". It was for a follow up to be sized for orthotics. The nurse I spoke with before him was nice, he also seemed to be nice as well. The trouble came with his other nurse in charge of ordering the orthotics. She was very standoff-ish and a bit rude. She kept insisting that if my insurance doesn't cover it(of which was check on with the other doctor BEFORE they rescheduled my appointment and it was covered), I will have to pay for them and they are "very expensive! Make sure you have that kind of money or it will be put on your credit report!" Quite judgmental, quick tempered as if she didn't want to be involved with the process at all. That's the tame part of the story. This all happened back in October of LAST YEAR and I have yet to hear back after a vague few calls inquiring about them, phone tag since then, and a voice mail saying they were STILL there but not a call back after I keep calling to schedule to get them.(I was told I would have to have an appointment to get them back in October) The whole practice seems to be a bit weird at this point and I will be looking for a new doctor when I get my orthotics.

Friendly, but could do without the snake oil.
Dr. Holtzman is very friendly. The first time I saw him was for an ingrown toenail, which he removed with no issue whatsoever. The second time I saw him was for a pain in that same toe which turned out to be nothing - and we could have left it at that. However, he spent a good amount of time during the rest of our appointment trying to sell me an expensive ointment I could only buy from a company called EBM Medical - a company that, despite not giving my permission to share my information with them, contacted me later that same day! Later that week, I asked my primary care doctor (who I had an existing appointment with) about the product he wanted me to purchase, and she expressed extreme skepticism. Upon consulting a different podiatrist, that doctor recommended an over the counter alternative.

I have a variety of foot problems including hammertoe and Achilles tendonitis. Dr. Holtzman is straightforward in his diagnosis and recommendations.

Dr Holtzman is excellent! He has reconstructed my Achilles' tendon on both feet and has done a few minor procedures as well. I would be afraid to go to anyone else. He's professional, pleasant and listens. The practice is busy but I don't mind waiting for him. It's well worth it.

Dr. Holtzman was caring and thoroughly explained my options and procedure with my bunion surgery to me. The one complaint I have is a lack of communication between his staff. Differing instructions between nurses and on call doctor vs my doctor to the point I questioned if I had heard my doctor correctly when he verbally gave me instructions. Seems like complete step by step instructions should be given to patients to avoid confusion. Only complaint thus far and I'm 4 weeks out from surgery.

I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and Dr. Holtzman came highly recommended from a friend. My positive patient experience began with his friendly receptionist who had me scheduled quickly. The care team was great--quick check-in, short wait, and in for my appointment where I was seen by a nurse (assessment & x-rays) and Dr. Holtzman who clearly explained my condition, prognoses and treatment options. Doctor Holtzman & team are professional, respectful, and friendly. HIGHLY recommended!

Dr. Holtzman is an excellent physician and surgeon. He has helped me with plantar fasciitis, hammertoes and neuromas. He is NOT quick to cut on you like many other people are. I would not trust my feet to anyone else. I have been very satisfied with the care Dr. Holtzman has given me. My feet have been stable for the last several years. If anything would flare, I would not hesitate to return.

Dr. Holtzman was the most caring foot doctor I have seen about my bilateral bunions. He took the time to listen to me and stated he would ONLY due surgery if my feet were painful, he would NOT perform surgery for cosmetic purposes only. I wanted my right foot done first due to how 'ugly' it was, but he stated my left foot was 'worse' per the X-rays; he's the professional, so I went with his decision. I have had tremendous results and am looking forward to having my right foot done soon!!

I made two appointments to see this doctor. Both times, my appointments were cancelled the day before. The first appointment was actually cancelled 30 minutes prior. I would not recommend this doctor or this practice, they are completely unreliable.
