Zero Compassion
The wait itself was longer than the visit. After explaining my concerns and asking for something more than a cream, I was offered a cream. I was told I could try biopsy to get further treatment, but when asking about cost I was told they didn't know, but they bill insurance several hundred dollars. I asked to have the billing code to contact insurance to get an estimate. I was told I would need to reschedule because 'He had other patients to see' and he wasn't going to wait on me to see if I could afford the out of pocket after insurance. It was clear treating me was not a priority & I was taking longer than he anticipated the visit to take (maybe 10-15 minutes maximum), so, he dismissed me and my concerns & became defensive. This man has zero compassion. He said 'let's pretend this never happened' & advised his staff to refund me the copay I paid. Very VERY sad experience. I would not recommend this doctor TO ANYONE, however, the staff was excellent and they should be recognized for t

What a visit should be!
Excellent efficient staff. As always, Dr Holsinger asked if I had questions or concerns before he started. Took pictures for my chart on a spot to keep an eye on. Fast friendly to the point ….perfect!!

Dr. Holsinger is an awesome dermatologist. The office staff is great, both competent and friendly. Dr. Holsinger is very personable and friendly, yet very professional, and it's evident he really knows what he's doing. He takes his time with your treatment and explains things clearly. He offers the patient options and lets you know what to expect and not expect. There is no wait time in the waiting room. If you decide to make an appointment with Dr. Holsinger, be on time, or you might have to reschedule. The waiting room as well as the exam rooms are spotless. I would recommend Dr. Holsinger highly to anyone needing dermatological treatment. He's a doctor you can really trust. I really don't think you can do better than Dr. Holsinger. I'm so glad I found him and he is close to my home.

TL;DL Just go elsewhere, find someone that will listen to your concerns and knowledge of your own body actually consider them. Don't bother going here -- if you book to see the PO, Vera, they still bill you under the doctor -- at a higher rate. Then likely double bill you, like they did me. I had to play middle man because the office refuses to communicate themselves with billing -- horrid experience with the office, bounced around to over 4 people and nothing could ever be investigated while on the phone -- had to deal with callback after call back with them each playing telephone with each other and getting the information incorrect. Eventually someone tried to teach me about their medical billing practice so that I would agree to pay for seeing a doctor the doctor instead of the PO (costing me ~$40 extra -- but at this point was not really the point -- they'd rather quibble over that small amount than do right by a patient).

I do not recommend this practice to anyone who is experiencing any skin problems. Dr. Holsinger's bedside manner is very off putting. He came into the room with a preconceived notion of what the diagnosis is (I forgot to mention this was our first time EVER seeing him). He was quick to dismiss questions, by offering answers that were not relevant to the question. He wanted me to rescheduled because I had questions about my skin. The wait was longer than the actual visit.
