I have been a patient of Dr. Holds for the past 25 years. He repaired a clogged tear duct and cosmetic surgery on my eyes. Dr. Holds is honest with all patients to what he can and can't perform. He continues to monitor my tear duct, along with fillers and toxin. He is an excellent Dr. and performs outstanding cosmetic surgery along with everyday eye issues. I've been to him three times in 20 years now for Xanthelasma surgeries. This last time my PCP took me off statins and I was looking so bad people were asking what was wrong with me. Dr Holds gave me my face back. I'm me again!

Dr. Holds used a laser on my forehead that left long, white, PERMANENT streaks which are highly noticeable. To make matters worse, he tried to sell me something before I left the office. He can be unprofessional at times. Nurses are hit or miss—some friendly while others aren’t.

I had brow lifts and upper blepharoplasties in May. The office staff were knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. Dr. Holds explained the problem and planned surgery in ways that I could understand. He answered all of my questions. The surgery went smoothly and everything healed as expected. I am thrilled with the results and would recommend Dr. Holds and the staff without reservations.

From the first consultation to all of the follow-ups and most importantly, the lower Blepharoplasty and laser procedures Dr. Holds was kind, compassionate and very professional. Dr. Holds explained everything thoroughly and gave me time to formulate questions and he provided detailed answers (even during the procedure!). I could not be happier at age 64 to have the surgery Dr. Holds did to get rid of the unsightly bags under my eyes. Highly recommend!

I had a lower and upper blepharoplasty done. Dr Holds and staff were warm and extremely caring from my consult to my final visit. My upper eyelids were dropping into my eyelashes and I had severe bags under my eyes. Dr Holds has given me my confidence back. I can look people in the eye now. I feel beautiful. He was recommended to me by several people, two of which were doctors. I can’t tell you how glad I am I decided to go to him. I only wish I had gone sooner!

Fantastic Dr. He is the one to go to for Ptosis surgery. He did an amazing job on my one eye with ptosis. My eyes look the same now. The surgery was painless and the recovery not bad at all. He is the best and I highly recommend him.

Arrived for surgical appointment only to discover Dr Holds was not going to do the work we discussed in consultation. In consult he gave me a price and I commented it was very high. He then reduced the price and said that I could be charged less for having my work done under local and not using anesthesia or surgical center. He never mentioned reducing work. He added insult by saying you can have this for 3,000 more but I feel you can not afford this. Get it in writing with this guy. Day of surgery is stressful and then this mis-treatment was unprofessional. Also a waste of time. I walked and have made a new appointment with a Dr who discussed my plan. Outlined it in writing and itemized the bill.

Dr. Holds has done 2 eye surgeries on me and I wouldn't even think about using another doctor. He is professional and courteous to his patients. The absolute best in the St. Louis area!

Dr. Holds and staff were amazing! I had my lower eyelids done as a cosmetic procedure. Everyone was helpful, kind, and informative. All my questions were answered and the procedure was explained well. After a couple of weeks I m so thrilled with the final results. I would definitely recommend Dr. Holds and staff. As surgeon?? I'll never know. Dr. Holds was recommended and I was looking forward to meeting him. Unfortunately, I had over an hour wait (no one else waiting) & then only 5 minutes with him. I was already nervous going in, but sitting and waiting, form filling -all made the entire experience worse. He seemed uncomfortable with me asking questions about what the procedure would entail and never did give me any details to reassure me. It was even more upsetting when I went to the next room to meet with the office scheduler who seemed bothered by my questions about surgery and kept referring me to the 'Surgery Center'. She didn't seem to have time for me either. I mentioned this at check out and apparently they don't like that. Huh. AND I didn't like the hour wait. Hey doc, I have just as many awards on my wall, but at least when my clients ask questions, or seem anxious - I show some compassion and patience. It amazes me how many doctors offices today feel so impersonal/no compassion.

Dr. Holds and his team provided me with great patient care! I saw Dr. Holds for cosmetic reduction on my upper and lower lids, something I had been wanting to do for some time. The care during my surgery and after was excellent! My results were beyond anything I expected. I didn't look "different", I looked "refreshed"...as some of my friends commented. I highly recommend Dr. Holds and his team!
