Saw Dr Holder last year after an ER visit led to an incidental finding of a heart abnormality. While I work in veterinary medicine, human medicine is quite foreign to me & I was very concerned about what this meant. Dr Holder recommended additional testing to be safe (which I hugely appreciated) then spent probably an hour explaining everything in great detail so I could understand what this diagnosis meant for me. Clearly he is an expert in his field & I would recommend him to anyone needing Cardiology services.

Dr. Holder has a very calming personality. Even when addressing the most critical issues he retains his reassuring manner. He does not rush my visits with him; instead he takes the time to ask questions about my life style. He does not try to preach about making changes but instead asks enough questions to get my attention and lead me to consider making changes. I would highly recommend this wonderful cardiologist. Not only is he my doctor, I feel like he is my friend and is looking out for my best interest.

As usual, Dr. Holder began my most recent visit by reviewing my lab results with me in detail. He prescribed an additional medication to address cholesterol levels that he felt should be lower. We then discussed some symptoms I am currently experiencing and he determined that they were related to my blood pressure medication that had been recently changed. He prescribe a medication change. Dr. Holder works tirelessly to provide me with the most up-to-date, cutting edge medications that help me maintain a healthy life,

I saw Dr Holder today for a low heart rate that often leaves me feeling out of sorts and tired. He was kind, and explained what was happening. I was pretty worried about not being heard as other physicians blew me off. Dr Holder was so calm and really put my mind to rest. He ordered a ton of test which told he really cared and understands my worry. So happy I saw him!

I CANNOT recommend Dr. Holder for female patients. Went to him based on NP's belief I'd had a heart attack. Dr. Holder assured me there were no heart issues. 3 weeks later, I had emergency dbl-bypass due to 90% blockage w/confirmed heart damage due to previous heart attack. Visited him 4 addt'l times for continued issues which he said were normal & dismissed as being worse in my head. New Cardiologist diagnosed thyroid problem on 1st visit & am now on medication; all issues resolved.

Dr. Holder possesses and shares his vast array of knowledge with patients. He is sensitive to their needs, and listens intently. He takes an extraordinary amount of time to review and explain the results of all tests (Creatine Kinase, Comprehensive Metabolic, and Lipo Profile). In addition, he reviews all trending data and if treadmill stress tests are required, he is present and personally witnesses all procedures. Both my wife and I are his patients and feel his advice and care is outstanding.

I appreciated Dr. Holder's straightforward explanations and recommendations without being judgmental. His professionalism and his ability to speak to me and not at me meant a great deal. I was very comfortable with his treatment plan. Highly encourage patients to schedule an appointment with this fine Doctor.
