There is nothing like experience!
Dr. Hefferon diagnosed my sprained MCL in about 30 seconds. I so trusted his level of competence. Very kind man and a straight shooter. Explains things very well and you can feel his empathy. I’d recommend him to anyone I cared about.

Patient listener and explainer
Dr. Hefferon gave me definitive advice, and he backed it up with clear explanations of my problems and every approach I can take. He was patient with my fear of surgery. He was candid with describing the procedure he recommended and also with the recovery process. I strongly recommend him.

Best orthopedic I have ever seen. Dr Hefferon performed two ACL reconstructions on my knee and did an amazing job. His personal care and interest were phenomenal. I would recommend him above any knee surgeon in any city. He truly treats you like his most important patient and explains everything to the n-th degree.

I went in to get a diagnosis on my ailing hip that made even jogging painful. Instead of addressing the issue, which was eventually solved surgically with another doctor, he was very arrogant, dismissive and uninterested and said " You could get surgery to fix this but what for? You are not an athlete" Don't waste your time with this guy,

Dr. Hefferon has a lot of experience with joint issues. He has helped me literally get my knees working again. Now my elbow. I have had several scopes done on both knees and elected to snip rather than 'sew up' a couple of meniscus tears. My knees were already damaged, this was maintenance. He reads MRI's very well and found something the initial Dr.'s evaluation didn't, TWICE! He pays attentio to your needs and tries to fulfill your goals.

Dr. Hefferon was nice and performed surgery on both of my feet. I am only starting my post-opp care and ever experience I have had with the women in his office has been unprofessional, uncaring and frankly, they should not interact with patients. One hung up on me and another was admit about pushing my appointment back although I was instructed to come in earlier for my first post-opp appointment, leaving me to feel concerned about my bandages and possible infection.

The entire staff is top notch. I was in pretty bad shape and they moved mountains to get me in and reassure me. Dr. Hefferon is patient and made me feel like I was in excellent hands.
